Vader then instructed the captain to order the Inquisitor to cease the attack, asserting that Kenobi was already within their reach.
Following the escape of the Path, the Devastator maintained its pursuit of the insurgents. Throughout the ongoing chase, the captain remained alongside Lord Vader and the Grand Inquisitor on the bridge. When a pod was launched from Kawlan Roken's freighter, he informed his superior, specifying that it contained only one life form: the fugitive Jedi Master. Despite the Grand Inquisitor's reservations, Lord Vader instructed the captain to discontinue the pursuit of the freighter and instead focus on tracking Kenobi.

Nevertheless, the officer consistently carried out the wishes of the Sith Lord, even when the Grand Inquisitor questioned the judgment of the Dark Lord of the Sith.
