Nightsisters' Temple
The Nightsisters' Temple, a temple erected by the Nightsisters of Dathomir, stood on the world of Arcana for millennia before the Battle of Endor, dating back thousands of years.
History
Following the Galactic Civil War, during the time, the temple had deteriorated into a ruined state.
In 9 ABY, Ahsoka Tano journeyed to the Nightsisters' Temple, situated on the planet Arcana. She solved a puzzle to obtain the Arcana Star Map. This map pinpointed the location of the far galaxy where it was thought that Grand Admiral Thrawn had been exiled. After securing the star map, Tano faced an assault from several HK-87 assassin droids, whose self-destruct sequences caused the destruction of the temple's remaining structures.
Behind the scenes
The Nightsisters' Temple made its debut in "Part One: Master and Apprentice," the premiere episode of the live-action Disney+ series Ahsoka, which premiered on August 22, 2023. It wasn't officially identified, however, until a dedicated Databank entry was created for it.
Frances Lebar, the art director for the show, later shared various production photos displaying the set's design, which allowed fans to decode the runes inscribed around the temple.
