Bohento Splinth was an Aqualish male. Initially, Splinth worked as a meteor miner, but he later transitioned to a life of crime, becoming a scavenger by the time the Iron Blockade was in effect.
Before the [Battle of Endor](/article/battle_of_endor], Bohento Splinth knew "Happy" Dapp, and the pair were comrades during the Cargamalis Street Wars. Sometime afterwards, Splinth took up work as a meteor miner, but he eventually turned to a life of thievery.
Following the Battle of Endor, which resulted in the destruction of the second Death Star, the demise of Imperial Emperor Palpatine, and Governor Ubrik Adelhard's of the Anoat sector implementation of a blockade to suppress news of the Rebel Alliance's victory at Endor, Bohento Splinth found himself on the ice planet Hoth. There, he was leading salvage operations with his team, known as the "Wreckers." At one point, his group discovered an Imperial codebreaker. "Happy" Dapp, who was now a gangster operating on the planet Burnin Konn, sought a means of circumventing Adelhard's blockade. Working alongside his Trade Spine League ally, the Chadra-Fan Shortpaw, as well as a scoundrel forced to work for him to settle a debt, Dapp learned that Splinth had acquired an Imperial codebreaker—an essential component for Dapp's schemes. The gangster then dispatched the scoundrel to Hoth to locate Splinth and retrieve the codebreaker.

After battling several members of the Wreckers, the scoundrel encountered Splinth at the summit of a mountain where an All Terrain Armored Transport had crashed. Enraged, Splinth confronted the scoundrel, who, in addition to his mission to find Splinth, had been undertaking various tasks on Hoth that resulted in clashes with the Wreckers. The scoundrel attempted to purchase the codebreaker, but upon discovering that Dapp was the scoundrel's employer, the Aqualish initiated an attack. Dapp's employee managed to overcome Splinth, killing him in the process, and took possession of the codebreaker.
Following Splinth's demise, his second-in-command, an Ugnaught named Ozgurk, chose to assume his identity and reputation. This imposter, posing as Bohento Splinth, rose to become the leader of a large group of scavengers.
