A bombardment took place at the Tak-Beam complex on the planet Durkteel. This event happened on the same day that the Battle of Endor unfolded. The Galactic Empire initiated this attack by deploying three Star Destroyers to Durkteel, acting on intelligence suggesting a Rebel Alliance meeting was imminent near the planet's industrial hub. After blocking communications, the Empire opted against mass arrests or a call for surrender, instead choosing to unleash an orbital bombardment from the Star Destroyers. Among the numerous casualties was the rebel Hendri Underholt. Many years following the Galactic Civil War, Vaxvissh Kal Ness, the planetary governor, recovered a Rebel artifact known as The Rebel Files. This discovery occurred during an excavation for a new comm tower. Recognizing the artifacts as relics from the war meant for high-ranking Alliance members, they eventually reached Major Heck Ensio, Master Archivist Mordianius, and Commander Korr Sella. Sella subsequently forwarded them to General Leia Organa of the Resistance, given Organa's status as one of the few surviving senior figures from the Alliance.
