Braganti Hooge

Braganti Hooge was a Chirq Council elite councilor and male Human who resided on Corellia during the Galactic Civil War era.

Biography

Following the Battle of Yavin, Braganti Hooge was among the nine elite councilors who spearheaded the criminal syndicate known as the Chirq Council. The other eight were Markus Gilder, Zuld Mar-Shayal, Koran Lassk, Janos Zarbo, Mathazar Zayet, Rallyn Secura, Crale Forte, and Atlan Dubreas. Hooge's base of operations was the Second Elite Council Bunker, situated near the city of Doaba Guerfel.

In the year 1 ABY, the Corellian Security Force launched an investigation into the Chirq Council due to the escalating ryll trafficking activities on Corellia. Captain Vitala Baize made the decision to infiltrate the organization by using a CorSec operative who would impersonate Trins Evnar, a Chirq Council member located in Doaba Guerfel. After eliminating Evnar, along with all Chirq Council criminals familiar with him, the CorSec agent adopted Trins Evnar's persona and approached the underboss Jzoro Quanera, successfully infiltrating the organization. The CorSec acquired the identities of the nine elite councilors and the locations of their clandestine headquarters from Jzoro Quanera's database. The CorSec then raided both the First and Second Elite Council Bunkers, eliminating all of the elite councilors during these raids. The Chirq Council dissolved into separate factions after the demise of Braganti Hooge and the other elite councilors.
