―Santari KhriThe Chamber of Detachment was among the centuries-old Jedi Meditation Chambers located on the Outer Rim planet Koboh. Constructed during the High Republic Era, the chamber was discovered behind a waterfall in the Mountain Ascent region of Prospector's Folly, near the Rambler's Reach Valley. As with the other Jedi Meditation Chambers on Koboh, Jedi Master Santari Khri had the Chamber of Detachment built to train Jedi Knights and Padawans for the arduous journey through the Koboh Abyss to reach the hidden planet Tanalorr. The turbolift providing access to the chamber was sealed and could only be unlocked with a Republic tuner device. After entering the chamber, the arriving Jedi were welcomed by a recording of Khri's voice, which urged them to view their problems from fresh perspectives so that they would no longer seem so vexing. Inside the chamber, reaching the shrine decorated with the Jedi crest required using the Force to move powered cubes and construct a makeshift staircase. The task was complicated because the small turbolift used to raise one cube had to be activated by a large pressure sensor, requiring the Jedi to time the movements of both cubes appropriately.
Some Jedi conversed within the Chamber of Detachment, discussing their favorite hidden gems on Koboh's surface, comparing Koboh with their time on Coruscant, and voicing concerns about Jedi Knight Dagan Gera's sudden disappearance after a reported rampage attributed to the Jedi Council ordering the abandonment of Tanalorr.
By 9 BBY, the Chamber of Detachment had been infiltrated by Koboh dust, which solidified into barriers vulnerable only to the energy from an orb amplifier, one of which was located in the chamber. One of these barriers blocked access to one of the two cubes required to reach the upper chamber room.
