Darth Rauder was a female humanoid who held the position of Sith Lady within Darth Krayt's Order and his Galactic Empire, serving under the title of Dark Lord of the Sith. In the year 138 ABY, she was in command of the Sith squadron of pilots stationed on the War Hammer, a Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer that served as the flagship for the First Sith Imperial Strikeforce. During the Sith Empire's Operation: Thunderstroke, an operation aimed at capturing the ousted Emperor Roan Fel on the planet of Agamar, Rauder led the 1st Imperial Center Core Defense Squadron into the aerial combat above Agamar. Following the battle, where Fel successfully evaded capture by the Sith forces, Rauder participated in the devastation inflicted upon Da Soocha and its moon, Napdu, where she and Skull Squadron eliminated any civilian vessels attempting to flee. Later on, Rauder was a participant in the Sith Empire's assault targeting the Hidden Temple of the Jedi Order located on the planet of Taivas. During this conflict, Rauder gave the order to Gunn Yage, the captain of Skull Squadron, to destroy a ship carrying Jedi younglings. Yage refused this order, turned against Rauder, and subsequently destroyed Rauder's starfighter, resulting in her death.
Darth Rauder was a female humanoid born during the era encompassing the Second Imperial Civil War and the Sith–Imperial War. By the year 137 ABY, she had risen to the rank of Sith Lady within Darth Krayt's Sith Order, a Dark Lord of the Sith, thus acquiring the "Darth" title. When the Sith-Imperial forces received intelligence that the deposed Emperor Roan Fel was secretly meeting with members of the Jedi Order on the planet Agamar to discuss a potential alliance, Rauder, along with other Sith pilots, accompanied the First Sith Imperial Strikeforce to Agamar with the intention of capturing Fel. While the fleet was traveling through hyperspace, Rauder ordered the replacement of the Predator-class fighters of the 1st Imperial Center Core Defense Squadron, which were under the command of Captain Gunn Yage, with Sith-designed ships. When Yage questioned Rauder's decision, the Sith warned her that disobedience would result in death.
Captain Gunn Yage's Squadron was ordered by Rauder to switch to a new Sith-designed starfighter design, replacing their familiar Predators, which prompted Yage's protest. Rauder responded by threatening Yage with death if she failed to comply.
During Operation: Thunderstroke, Lady Rauder took to the skies with Skull Squadron, assuming the callsign "Skull Leader". In the course of the battle, she commanded Captain Yage and the other members of Skull Squadron to open fire on Bastion resistance pilots who had ejected from their damaged starfighters. When Yage refused to comply, the Sith Lady began to use the Force to torture her and threatened to use telekinesis to kill her. However, Lieutenant Tev Rimon intervened by shooting the pilot himself, thus sparing Yage the moral dilemma of killing an unarmed enemy. Although Rauder spared Yage's life, she was displeased and warned Rimon that any future disobedience would result in his death.

Lady Rauder was also present during the poisoning of Da Soocha and the bombing of Napdu under the command of Sith Lord Darth Azard, Moff Yage and scientist Vul Isen. Aboard her Sith Fury, Rauder designated the civilian ships fleeing Napdu as "enemy combatants," despite their unarmed status, and ordered the members of Skull Squadron to destroy them. Although Tev Rimon and Jae Akura voiced their objections, Captain Yage ultimately acquiesced and instructed her subordinates to follow the Sith Lady's orders.
A few months later, in 138 ABY, Lady Rauder led Skull Squadron during the Attack on the Hidden Temple. Under her command, many allied and Fel loyalist starfighters were destroyed. As the battle intensified, Jedi Master T'ra Saa gave the order for the ships that formed the Hidden Temple to take flight and escape. Aboard one of these ships, Masters Tili Qua and K'Kruhk were escorting a group of Jedi younglings to safety. Sensing their presence on the ship, Rauder ordered Skull Squadron to destroy it. However, Captain Yage refused to murder defenseless children. Disgusted with the Sith, she destroyed Rauder's starfighter, killing Rauder in the process. No longer willing to serve the Sith, Yage defected to the Empire-in-exile, followed by her father and many other disillusioned Imperials who had grown weary of the Sith's rule.

Darth Rauder was an extremely loyal member of the One Sith. She showed no mercy to anyone she considered to be an enemy of the Sith, regardless of their ability to defend themselves. She would order the killing of unarmed soldiers or even civilians. As a military commander, she had little patience for subordinates who questioned her orders, and she was willing to torture and kill those who defied her.
Unlike other female Sith Ladies, Rauder had a short haircut.
Darth Rauder was a proficient pilot, despite eventually being shot down by Captain Yage. Rauder possessed a moderate ability with telekinesis, but she was unable to foresee Yage's intention to shoot her down. Rauder was very skilled at torture. Any hint of insubordination would result in the person suffering torture at the hands of Rauder using the Force.
