The LEGO animated short "Droid Holiday Hustle", which is non-canon, was made available on the LEGO YouTube channel and StarWarsKids.com on November 18, 2022. It's a piece of the LEGO STAR WARS: Celebrate the Season collection.
C-3PO and R2-D2 are in a rush to get to the spaceport in Mos Eisley, but they get there too late to board their shuttle before it leaves. They try to get on a quadjumper, but a human boy denies them access because it is already at capacity. Following this, they come across a Rebel Alliance X-wing starfighter pilot who is asleep. R2-D2 rouses the pilot and presents him with a hologram that displays a map of their destination. The pilot then permits the two droids to travel in his starship's astromech socket.
During their hyperspace voyage, C-3PO holds on tightly for his safety, leading R2-D2 to make an error in calculating the jump. The X-wing comes out of hyperspace before it should and ends up crashing on a rocky planet that is covered in snow. An AT-AT walker approaches them, and they are allowed to ride along with the other passengers it is carrying. The droids later manage to find a way to travel aboard a TIE fighter.
The droids are later transported by Ewoks on Endor, who were trying to follow the directions that R2-D2 was showing. The droids then travel on a variety of vehicles, such as an A-wing starfighter, an LAAT/i gunship, and, in the end, the Razor Crest. The two droids descend in a turbolift to join a family meal with Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, and Lando Calrissian.
