Kiros, situated within the Expansion Region of the galaxy, was a beautiful world abundant with sweeping green valleys and cascading waterfalls. This planet served as the home for a colony of 50,000 Togruta individuals. Before the Separatist conquest of Kiros during the Clone Wars, Governor Gupat Roshti governed the planet and received communication from Master Yoda.
The Governor of Kiros was contacted by Count Dooku, who requested permission for the Separatists to relocate the inhabitants to a safe area while they established a base. Subsequently, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and Clone Captain Rex engaged in a battle on Kiros, successfully liberating the planet, only to find that the entire population had been abducted by slavers. Following a battle at Kadavo and the destruction of the Zygerrian slave processing facility, the former captives were returned to Kiros to reconstruct their civilization.
The first appearance of Kiros was in "Kidnapped," which is the eleventh episode from fourth season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series'.
