In the year 4 ABY, a mission was undertaken by Rowan Freemaker, R0-GR, and Quarrie. Their destination was the abandoned Force Builders' city, Alistan Nor, situated on a remote jungle planet. It was during this journey that Rowan gained the inspiration and fortitude necessary to construct the Arrowhead, a starship thought capable of shifting the balance in the Galactic Civil War. They were relentlessly pursued by the Imperial hunter droid, M-OC.
Rowan Freemaker experienced a Force vision depicting a potent starship known as the Arrowhead. He then faced difficulties in conveying the ship's design to Quarrie, the Mon Calamari starship designer working for the Rebel Alliance. Rowan firmly believed that the Arrowhead held the potential to alter the course of the Galactic Civil War. Encouraged by Quarrie, Rowan made the decision to journey to the city of Alistan Nor to acquire knowledge of craftsmanship and design. Alistan Nor was once the home of the Force Builders, a group related to the Jedi, specializing in the architecture and construction of starships.
Although Rowan couldn't persuade his older siblings, Kordi and Zander Freemaker, to accompany him aboard the StarScavenger, he successfully convinced Quarrie and the B1-series battle droid Roger to join him. Despite his limited piloting abilities, Rowan managed to navigate the StarScavenger to the planet Alistan Nor, which was encircled by three rings. While navigating through an asteroid field, the Imperial probe droid XJ9-GM02 detected him, reporting his presence to the Imperial hunter droid M-OC, who then traveled to the city of Alistan Nor aboard the Tracker I. M-OC had been tracking Rowan ever since their previous encounter on Tibalt.
After landing the StarScavenger, Rowan, Quarrie, and Roger made their way through the ruins of Alistan Nor, which the jungle had long since overtaken. Soon after, they found themselves being chased by a group of gundarks. While Quarrie and Roger managed to locate a tunnel, Rowan used a lightsaber to fend off the gundarks and employed the Force to trap them behind stone pillars. Rowan then followed his companions into the tunnel, which led to the interior of the Tower of Alistan Nor, the city's central structure.
Rowan and his comrades ascended the stairs, eventually reaching the tower's summit. As he gazed upon the jungle-covered remains of Alistan Nor, Rowan experienced a vision of the city during its prime. He also had another Force vision of the Arrowhead, finding the inspiration needed to construct the ship. Shortly afterward, Roger detected the sound of approaching engines. The source of the sound was M-OC's Tracker I.
M-OC unleashed the Tracker I's cannons upon Rowan, Roger, and Quarrie. The trio narrowly escaped being crushed by a falling pillar. M-OC persisted in his barrage, causing them to fall from the ramparts. However, Rowan used the Force to grasp a vine. He also employed the Force to suspend Roger and Quarrie in the air. M-OC, equipped with a rocket booster, then disembarked from his ship and engaged Rowan with his new Double-bladed spinning lightsaber and blasters. Rowan managed to use the Force to guide Roger and Quarrie toward a lower-hanging vine.
As the battle raged on, M-OC fired upon the ancient tower, forcing Rowan to leap from vine to vine to evade the attacks. At one point, M-OC was struck by a section of the fallen balcony, but he quickly rebuilt himself. Before M-OC could rejoin the battle, a pack of gundarks attacked him. This provided Rowan, Roger, and Quarrie with an opportunity to escape off-world aboard the StarScavenger before the indestructible droid could resume his pursuit.
Upon returning to the MC80A Home One Type Heavy Star Cruiser Home One, Rowan apologized to Zander and Kordi for taking the StarScavenger without permission. The siblings quickly reconciled, and Quarrie revealed to Zander and Kordi that Rowan was one of the last Force Builders. Having deciphered Rowan's vision, Quarrie explained that they needed several starship components, including embersteel blades, a fusion conduit, suspension housing, an energy matrix activator, and a bantha-sized kyber crystal. Consequently, the Freemakers embarked on a quest to locate the parts required to build the Arrowhead.
The Alistan Nor mission is the central conflict in the LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures Season Two episode "The Tower of Alistan Nor," which initially aired on July 31, 2017.
