The animated television show LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures features an episode titled "Showdown on Hoth," which serves as the eleventh installment of its first season. In the grand scheme of the series, this is the eleventh episode overall. It was initially broadcasted on Disney XD on August 15, 2016.

Naare and Graballa, piloting the Eclipse Fighter and Rancor's Fist, respectively, pursue the Freemakers as they enter the atmosphere of Hoth. The bounty hunters Dengar, Baash, and Raam join the chase in their own starfighter. Roger alerts Zander to the intense snowstorms occurring on the planet's surface. Consequently, Zander attempts to evade their pursuers by navigating through one of these storms. Everyone except Naare struggles with visibility in the storm. She utilizes the Force to guide herself and fires upon the StarScavenger. Despite sustaining several hits, Rowan employs the Force to steer the ship to safety. Under Rowan's direction, Zander narrowly prevents the StarScavenger from crashing into a mountain. Unfortunately, Naare, Dengar, and Graballa are not as fortunate, and their ships crash into the mountain, leaving them bruised but alive.

After landing, the Freemakers proceed towards an ancient cave system, leaving Roger behind to maintain the warmth of the ship's engines. However, he overloads the engines, causing both the ship and himself to submerge into a frozen lake. Meanwhile, Rowan and his siblings explore a cave, with Rowan using his lightsaber for illumination. During their exploration of the cave system, Rowan and his siblings are startled by an unknown presence. Simultaneously, Graballa's henchmen, including Baash, Raam, and Yeppau, work to free the Rancor's Fist from the snow, while Dengar remains hidden behind a rock. An impatient Graballa inquires if Naare can use the Force to locate the child. Initially, Naare struggles to sense Rowan, but she then detects fear.
Returning to the ice cave, the Freemakers discover they are being trailed by a baby wampa, who develops an affection for Zander. Continuing their search, the Freemakers stumble upon a chamber filled with crystals. Acting on Zander's suggestion, Rowan uses the Force to call to the Kyber crystal and successfully retrieves it, much to everyone's delight. Regrettably, the crystal serves as a keystone for a naturally occurring booby trap, triggering a cave-in. Thinking swiftly, Rowan uses his new lightsaber to assist their escape back to the surface. As the Freemakers make their way back to their ship, the mother wampa emerges from her cave in search of her offspring.
Upon reaching their ship, the Freemakers discover that the StarScavenger is trapped beneath a frozen lake and find Roger frozen but still operational. With his language circuits and logic processor frozen, Roger is only capable of uttering the word "genius."

They seek refuge by utilizing nearby tauntauns and a derelict snowspeeder to travel towards a nearby abandoned Rebel base, only to find that it is still occupied by Imperials. These Imperials are revealed to be Ensign Durpin and Sub-Ensign Plumestriker, two disgraced Imperial officers who were reassigned to Hoth following the destruction of the Emperor Palpatine Museum on Naboo. While Durpin was content with his quiet reassignment, Plumestriker viewed it as a punishment and sought to regain favor with the Empire. Durpin attempts to deter the visitors with his blaster, but they drive their tauntaun sledge into the hangar.
Recognizing the Freemakers, Plumestriker intends to alert the Imperial High Command, but Durpin wishes to avoid disrupting their peaceful exile. Durpin opens fire on the Freemakers in an attempt to force them out. The baby wampa attacks Durpin, who retaliates with a kick. Plumestriker fires at the baby wampa, provoking the mother wampa to attack Durpin and Plumestriker. Amidst the chaos, Plumestriker manages to send a distress signal, alerting the Freemakers to the imminent arrival of Naare and her crew. Utilizing their master building skills and the Force, they prepare defenses for an impending showdown.

Naare and her team arrive shortly thereafter, and she is impressed by Rowan's latest creation: a reconstructed and functional Imperial walker piloted by Kordi and Roger, along with a Rebel snowspeeder flown by Zander and Rowan. Kordi's walker shoots down Graballa's ship, causing it to crash into the nearby ice lake, which frees the StarScavenger from its icy prison. Zander and Rowan's snowspeeder uses its tow cable to tear off the canopy of Dengar, Baash, and Raam's starfighter, resulting in its crash. However, their speeder is shot down by Naare's Eclipse Fighter. Kordi delivers the final blow by firing on Naare, disabling her fighter. In retaliation, Naare triggers an avalanche, causing the walker to topple.
She attempts to confront Rowan and the Freemakers with her lightsaber only to be trampled by the fleeing Durpin, Plumestriker, and the rampaging wampa mother and her baby. The Freemakers retreat to a nearby cave. Using a hologram transmitter, Naare communicates with the hiding Freemakers, reiterating her previous offer to surrender the crystals. However, Kordi and Zander have heard enough. Rowan considers the offer, stating that the crystals were the source of their troubles and surrendering them would restore their old lives. It is only when his older sister reveals that everyone's homes will be at risk if they give up that Rowan makes his decision.
Meanwhile, Graballa complains to Naare about waiting in the cold until Rowan reveals himself and hands over the crystal. Delighted, Naare assembles all the shards together while Rowan and his family make a silent getaway. With a flash of Force-lightning, the Kyber Saber is restored until it falls apart, one of the pieces melting into the snow. Dengar realizes that the piece that Rowan gave up was a shard of ice, as Graballa realizes the shards for what they really are. Outsmarted by Rowan, Naare turns to find the StarScavenger leaving Hoth and she screams in rage at being cheated of the Kyber Saber

In space, the Freemakers celebrate their victory and Rowan's deception until he comments the Empire will be looking for them. Roger's language circuits and logic processor has defrosted and he is able to speak in complete sentences again. Kordi assures Rowan they are all in this together as family, and proceeds to discuss with her big brother where to go next. When Kordi suggests Kamino, Zander says it is too wet. When Zander proposes Tatooine, Kordi replies it is too hot and dry. Rowan then leaves for the rear compartment with Roger under the pretext of checking something.
After a short while, they notice a big shock: Rowan and a thawed Roger leaving the ship in the smaller Mini Scavenger. Despite their protests, Rowan explains the Force chose him to protect the Kyber Saber crystals, so it's up to him to protect his family and everybody else in the galaxy, as a Jedi would protect the galaxy. He gives his farewells before going into hyperspace, leaving his siblings behind.
