Baash, an Iktotchi male bounty hunter, was in the employ of Graballa the Hutt, collaborating with his partner, Raam. Alongside Dengar, the group's leader, Baash and Raam pursued Rowan Freemaker to seize the Kyber Saber crystals. They later became allies with Sith agent Naare, until she betrayed them at the Freemaker Garage.

Following the Battle of Hoth, Baash, along with his Iktotchi bounty hunter companion Raam, served the Hutt crime lord Graballa. The two Iktotchi functioned as Graballa's strategic advisors. During a visit to Graballa's ore mine situated in the Belgaroth asteroid field, they came across Rowan Freemaker and his B1-series battle droid, Roger. When queried about their presence, Rowan and Roger jokingly claimed to enjoy watching the mining droids detonate objects. The two Iktotchi then engaged in a brief argument before mending their differences.
Resuming their interrogation, Baash and Raam questioned Rowan about his reasons for being at the mine. Rowan feigned being the galaxy's deadliest Ugnaught bounty hunter, identifying Roger as "IG-89". Impressed, Baash and Raam escorted the pair aboard Graballa's flagship, the Rancor's Fist, as potential bounty hunter recruits. However, Graballa expressed disinterest in hiring additional bounty hunters, already employing Dengar. Nevertheless, Graballa proposed that Rowan and "IG-89" could replace Dengar if they could defeat him in combat.
Dengar triumphed over the challengers, revealing their true identities as Rowan and Roger. Graballa then conveyed his interest in Rowan's Kyber Saber crystal, demanding that the boy assist him in locating more, with the intention of funding his beachside resort and buffet. Upon Rowan's refusal, Graballa threatened to offer him as food to his pet Nexu, Smiley. When Roger stated he was a droid, Baash countered that Smiley consumed anything, presenting a damaged stormtrooper helmet and Smiley's litter box as proof.
Before Graballa could harm Rowan and Roger, Rowan's older siblings, Kordi and Zander, entered the throne room, attempting to sell Graballa a Z-wing. While Kordi and Zander diverted Graballa, the fake Jedi and Sith agent Naare used a mind trick on Baash and Raam, inducing them to take a nap. Following a scuffle, the Freemakers and Naare escaped into the Belgaroth asteroid field. Believing the Kyber Saber crystal would surpass the wealth of his cousin Jabba, Graballa instructed Baash and Raam to pursue Rowan.

Baash and Raam, accompanied by Dengar, journeyed to the Wheel, a space station situated in the Abrion system. In the Wheel's Lower Ring, Baash, Raam, and other bounty hunters, including IG-88, attended a meeting where the rebel Lando Calrissian sought to hire bounty hunters to retrieve a "lost treasure" from Imperial-occupied Cloud City. The bounty hunters declined, but Rowan offered his crew.
Later, while discussing lunch, Baash and Raam encountered Dengar again in the Lower Ring's streets. Dengar expressed frustration at their inability to locate Rowan and took offense when one of the Iktotchi insulted him. Before Dengar could provide his status report to Graballa, Baash and Raam mentioned a "special job" on Cloud City. The three bounty hunters traveled to Bespin, where they bribed the stormtroopers to gain access to Cloud City.
After some searching, Baash, Raam, and Dengar arrived at the carbon-freezing chamber, encountering the Freemakers and Naare. Dengar seized the briefcase containing Lando's "lost treasure" from Kordi, only for Naare to take it, believing it contained another Kyber Saber crystal. Baash and Raam quickly recognized Rowan, who had been frozen in carbonite. The three bounty hunters then fled Cloud City, pursued by the Freemakers and Naare.
Before they could escape in their craft, Zander severed the cable connecting Cloud City's repulsorlift generator. This caused Baash, Raam, and Dengar to slide into the city, which plummeted into Bespin's depths. Following a brief chase through Cloud City's corridors, the Freemakers and Naare reclaimed the briefcase and Rowan's frozen form. The diminishing gravity caused Baash and his companions to fall into a prison cell. Meanwhile, the Freemakers and Naare escaped back to the Wheel with Lando's "lost treasure." Later, while consuming Cloud City prison food, Dengar identified Rowan's family through a stray business card.

Baash, Raam, and Dengar later escaped Cloud City by commandeering a stolen Cloud car, ejecting its original occupants. They returned to Graballa's flagship, Rancor's Fist, where the Hutt crime lord was making another failed attempt to secure a loan from his cousin Jabba. When Graballa inquired about their whereabouts, Dengar explained their imprisonment and criticized Graballa for ignoring their calls. Dengar then presented the Freemakers' business card, identifying Rowan Freemaker as their target.
Using this information, Graballa set a trap for the Freemakers, enlisting the podracing pilot Ben Quadinaros to invite them to Mos Espa on Tatooine under the guise of servicing his podracer. Baash, Raam, and Dengar accompanied Graballa when he confronted the Freemakers at Ben's garage. Before Graballa could question Rowan, Jabba entered the garage, accompanied by several Gamorrean guards and the bounty hunter Boba Fett. While Baash and his fellow bounty hunters were engaged in conversation with Fett, the Freemakers seized the opportunity to escape on a podracer.
Under Graballa's orders, Baash, Raam, and Dengar pursued the fugitives on speeder bikes. During the 29th Annual Bricklayers' Classic race, Baash and Raam attempted to ram the Freemaker podracer with their bikes, but Zander accelerated, causing the two bikes to collide. Dengar attempted to pursue the Freemakers but was outmaneuvered. Following the race, the Freemakers fled into the Dune Sea. Graballa dispatched his henchmen, including Baash and Raam, after the fugitives, cornering them at a derelict sandcrawler.
While besieging the Freemakers, Graballa apologized to Baash and his fellow bounty hunters for attempting to hire Boba Fett due to their perceived incompetence. The Freemakers scattered Graballa's henchmen by throwing thermal detonators. After the Freemakers exhausted their supply of thermal detonators, Graballa ordered his henchmen to storm the sandcrawler. However, Naare arrived, using her lightsaber and Force powers to attack Baash and the other henchmen. During the struggle, Baash and Raam managed to capture Zander but were driven away by Naare. Naare and the Freemakers then escaped on her ship, the Eclipse Fighter. Naare also destroyed their skiff, stranding Graballa and his henchmen.

Baash and his colleagues followed Graballa to the Freemaker Garage on the Wheel, only to find that the Freemakers had already left. Instead, they encountered the Sith Naare, who claimed she could track down the Freemakers. Graballa and Naare formed an alliance, agreeing to share half of the Kyber Saber crystals. Using the Battle droid Roger's transmission pack as a homing beacon, Naare stole the fourth, fifth, and sixth Kyber Saber crystals from Rowan. Following a confrontation on Zoh, Graballa and Naare raced the Freemakers to Hoth, where the seventh crystal was located.
Baash and Raam flew with Dengar in his starfighter during a chase through Hoth's stormy atmosphere. Blinded by the snowstorm, Dengar crashed his starfighter into a mountain. Naare and Graballa's ships also collided with the mountain, but the Freemakers escaped. Baash survived the crash and joined Raam, Yeppau, and other henchmen in excavating Graballa's ship, the Rancor's Fist, from the snow. After some effort, Naare discovered that the Freemakers were hiding at the former rebel base, Echo Base.
During the assault, Baash, Raam, and Dengar flew in their starfighter. The fighter was quickly disabled when Rowan and Zander's snowspeeder tore off the canopy, causing them to crash. Naare forced the Freemakers to retreat after summoning an avalanche that toppled Kordi and Roger's AT-AT walker. After the Freemakers fled into a cave, Naare issued an ultimatum, offering Rowan and his family safe passage if they surrendered the seventh Kyber Saber crystal. Rowan instead sent them an ice crystal before escaping into hyperspace with his family. Baash and his colleagues were present when Naare attempted to reforge the Kyber Saber, only for it to shatter.

Following the debacle on Hoth, Baash, along with Graballa and his henchmen, were aboard the Rancor's Fist when Naare threw a tantrum, using the Force to hurl them against a wall. Later, Baash and his henchmen accompanied Graballa and Naare to the Freemaker Garage, where they cornered Kordi and Zander. In an attempt to lure Rowan out of hiding, Naare tortured them by destroying their prized possessions. This tactic succeeded in drawing Rowan and Roger out of hiding, but the young Jedi fought fiercely and freed his siblings.
During the skirmish, Baash and Raam exchanged fire with Kordi. Zander trapped them using a magnetizer, which seized their blasters. Graballa tried to convince the bounty hunters to drop their blasters, but they refused. At that moment, Zander fired a gas canister at Graballa, causing the Hutt to crash into Baash and Raam. Despite Rowan's resistance, Naare gained the upper hand when she learned that Roger knew the location of the seventh Kyber Saber crystal. Baash and his fellow henchmen were victorious when Naare defeated the Freemakers.
However, their triumph was short-lived when Naare refused to honor her initial agreement to share half of the Kyber Saber crystals with Graballa. She then used the Force to summon debris and expel Graballa and his henchmen from the Freemaker Garage.
Baash, Raam, Dengar, and Graballa later traveled to the Imperial Palace on Coruscant. By that time, Naare had reforged the Kyber Saber and failed to overthrow the Emperor. However, Rowan stole the Kyber Saber from her and escaped into hyperspace with his family. Naare attempted to flee the Emperor but was captured by Baash and his companions, who chained her hands. As punishment, Naare was frozen in carbonite. Under Graballa's orders, Baash, Raam, and Yeppau struggled to erect Naare's frozen body on a wall in Graballa's throne room.
Baash, Raam, and Yeppau accompanied Graballa on his visit to the Mygeeto Auction House. Graballa sought investors for his beachside resort and buffet among the wealthy nobles. While Graballa and Yeppau went to the luxury terrace, Baash and Raam went to the buffet. Baash and Raam acquired Mygeeto burritos and entered the auction hall. Raam accidentally bid for the Theta-class H-2 executive star shuttle. Raam's actions angered Graballa, who was forced to spend 75,000 Credits on an unwanted ship. Back on the Rancor's Fist, Graballa criticized his two henchmen and chastised Boba Fett for not supervising them.
Shortly after, Kordi Freemaker, disguised as Princess Alo Kortessi, boarded the Rancor's Fist and attempted to exchange an Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor for Graballa's unwanted shuttle. Graballa instead kidnapped her as part of a scheme to extort money from the Clawdite royal family. While Graballa tried to contact the Clawdite royal family, Baash hoisted "Princess Kortessi". As Dengar led a squadron of starfighters to confront Kordi's brothers Zander and Rowan, Baash and Raam remained aboard the Rancor's Fist. Offering her services as a business advisor, "Kortessi" managed to convince Graballa to designate Baash and Raam as liabilities or dependents. Kordi subsequently led Graballa to the Rancor's Fist's hangar, where they were joined by Zander and Rowan, who had arrived in the Jedi interceptor and the StarScavenger, respectively.
After Kordi chained Graballa, Graballa requested assistance, only for Baash to remind him that he had fired many of his staff through the airlock at Kordi's suggestion. When Baash and Raam tried to seize the Freemakers, Zander threw a container at them. Following a brief skirmish with Dengar, the Freemakers escaped aboard the shuttle and the StarScavenger. When Graballa demanded that Baash and Raam stop the intruders, the two bounty hunters went on strike, demanding that Graballa discuss compensation packages with them. They were joined by Dengar, who complained about the work environment.
Baash and Raam later assisted Graballa's mining operation. They detonated explosives to clear a rock-face, allowing several DLC-13 mining droids to enter the mine. When Graballa requested a report, Baash informed him that they had preliminary numbers, with Raam adding that they had found no kyber crystals. Seeking to use Rowan to locate more kyber crystals, Graballa attempted to capture Rowan at the Wheel, but the Freemakers escaped.

As an Iktotchi, Baash possessed a humanoid form and two prominent horns. He and his fellow Iktotchi, Raam, were bounty hunters known for their humorous remarks. He was vulnerable to mind tricks. Baash and Raam enjoyed discussing mundane topics such as mining droids and lunch. Baash had a fondness for hamburgers. Baash and Raam were also amiable and gullible. This naivety was exploited by Rowan, who fabricated a story to explain his and Roger's presence at Graballa's ore mine in the Belgaroth asteroid field.
Baash also suffered from a fear of heights. While he could ride a speeder bike, he was outmaneuvered by Zander. He and Raam were capable of subduing Zander in physical combat but were no match for Naare's Force powers. He and Raam also had experience as co-pilots, flying with the bounty hunter Dengar, who served as their leader. Baash was proficient with a blaster and refused to relinquish it when he and Raam were ensnared by a magnetizer.
Baash considered Graballa to be a poor reader, while Graballa disliked Baash and Raam for their incompetence. Baash and Raam had a strained working relationship with Graballa and once went on strike.
Baash was a minor antagonist created for the 2016–2017 Disney XD animated television series LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures. John DiMaggio provided his voice.
