Mini Scavenger

Rowan and varactyls Test Varactyls attacking the Freemakers' harvester craft The Mini Scavenger functioned as a compact shuttle for the Freemakers and was also their personal scavenging starship when they weren't utilizing the StarScavenger.

Description

Equipped with a bulldozer blade at its front, the Mini Scavenger was capable of traversing both realspace and hyperspace. The interior of the scavenging craft was quite confined. It could accommodate two people comfortably, but having four occupants made it a tight squeeze.

History

The Freemakers employed the Mini Scavenger to journey to the third moon of Takodana after their escape from Naare. Their mission was to recover three golden orbs. During this endeavor, several varactyls assaulted the craft. The orbs turned out to be their eggs, which they were guarding.

Later on, Rowan Freemaker and Roger piloted the Mini Scavenger to an unknown world carrying the last crystal from the Kyber Saber. Their goal was to keep Naare and Graballa from acquiring the crystal. Sensing the distress of Zander and Kordi Freemaker, Rowan and Roger used the vessel to return to the Freemaker Garage located at the Wheel.

After the Freemakers joined the Rebel Alliance, Zander utilized the Mini Scavenger to lift an A-wing on the planet Tibalt, guided by his sister Kordi.

While on the acidic world of Taul, the Freemakers used the Mini Scavenger to salvage a proton suspension housing from a wrecked Corellian Defender that was partially submerged in an acidic lake. After Hondo Ohnaka made off with the StarScavenger, the Freemakers used the Mini Scavenger to search for the pirate. Shortly after arriving in his ship Tracker I, the Imperial hunter droid M-OC destroyed the Mini Scavenger.

The Mini Scavenger was later rebuilt for the mission intended to rescue the Rebel Fleet. On Jakku, the Mini Scavenger met its end when it was destroyed by an AT-ST walker operated by Ensign Plumestriker and Sub-Ensign Durpin.

Later on, during an attempt by the Freemakers and Quarrie, the Mon Calamari starship engineer, to take down M-OC (who had stolen the Arrowhead), the Mini Scavenger reappeared on Shantipole. Piloting the ship was Roger, while Rowan jumped from the Mini Scavenger onto the Arrowhead in an effort to remove the ship's massive kyber crystal.
