Back in 40 BBY, the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, were dispatched to Teth on a mission. Their mission involved investigating and stopping Hutt attacks on agricultural shipments traveling along the Triellus Trade Route.
Later, during the era of the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems transported Jabba Desilijic Tiure's son to Teth. Consequently, the Galactic Republic launched an attack against Separatist forces on the planet's surface, led by Jedi General Anakin Skywalker. During this attack, Skywalker, along with his Padawan Ahsoka Tano, successfully rescued the Huttlet. At a later point, in 21 BBY, Teth became the location for a skirmish between bounty hunter Cad Bane and the Jedi Knights Kenobi and Quinlan Vos.
