A female human was subjected to slavery by the Zygerrian Alliance in the High Republic Era. While captive at a Zygerrian camp, she became ill after contracting a disease from a Gamorrean sow. The Zygerrian enslavers then determined that her condition was negatively impacting the worth of the other enslaved people. The Keeper, named Vardem Kroleyic, was about to execute her with a blaster in the presence of Lourna Dee, but Jedi and Republic troops attacked the camp.
The human attempted to divert Lourna Dee's attention from the enslavers by assisting other enslaved people. She told Dee to stay quiet and not be concerned about the Gamorrean that transmitted the disease to her. When Vardem Kroleyic discharged her blaster, Lourna used the human as a human shield, giving up the human's life to protect herself.
During their time aboard the Restitution prison ship, the Twi'lek named Sestin Blin brought the human to Lourna Dee's memory. Lourna would eventually tell Sestin a falsehood about the human, claiming the human had saved Lourna's life by sacrificing herself.
The human was featured in flashback sequences in the 2021 audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Runner, which was authored by Cavan Scott and performed by a complete cast of voice actors.
