Despite its flat, desolate surface marked by icy rock formations, it possessed a Type I atmosphere suitable for breathing by numerous species. In the year 34 ABY, Kragan Gorr, the pirate leader of the Warbird gang, arranged a rendezvous with Sidon Ithano, a weapons dealer, on this asteroid. The purpose was to purchase a battalion of antique B2-series super battle droids. The two arrived in their respective starships, with Gorr being accompanied by his pirate associates, Valik and Drell. Gorr complimented Ithano and finalized their transaction, though he unsuccessfully tried to bargain with the arms dealer. Following their agreement, the parties separated, after which Gorr's crew launched a failed takeover of the mobile space station Colossus utilizing the newly acquired battle droids.
This icy asteroid made its debut in "The Mutiny," which is the fourteenth episode within the second season of the animated television show, Star Wars Resistance. Before the episode aired on January 5, 2020, the asteroid's existence was first revealed in the official trailer for the season, which was launched on August 14, 2019. Aaron Pham, an artist at Lucasfilm Animation, created a minimum of three conceptual designs for both the asteroid and its rocky features, which he completed on August 1, 2018. Pham's goal was to depict a land surface characterized by a consistent, unvaried material. The rocks present on the asteroid's surface were pre-existing assets that had been repurposed from the season's third episode, "Live Fire," and were differentiated through alterations to their base layer, while the flat areas were enhanced to appear more reflective.
