A male Human, characterized by brown hair and sporting a goatee, served as an Imperial Knight under Emperor Roan Fel of the Galactic Empire around 130 ABY. In the aftermath of Fel's forces' victory over the Galactic Alliance at the Battle of Caamas, which concluded the Sith–Imperial War, Fel faced treachery from his Sith allies. Forewarned of this betrayal, he made his escape into exile. To ensure his safe departure, he deployed four Imperial Knights, including the brown-haired male, as a diversion against the Sith Lord Darth Krayt. Krayt arrived at the New Imperial Palace located on Coruscant, the Imperial throneworld, and killed all four Knights. Following this, he declared himself the Emperor of a new Empire.

In the year 130 ABY, an Imperial Knight, described as a Human male with brown hair and a goatee, was in service. These Imperial Knights were members of a Force-using group devoted to Emperor Roan Fel of the Galactic Empire. During this year, the brown-haired male took part in a strategic deception planned by Fel, aimed at the Sith Lord Darth Krayt. After the conclusion of the Sith–Imperial War, Nyna Calixte, the Director of Imperial Intelligence, informed Fel that his Sith allies, who had been instrumental in the Empire's victory over the Galactic Alliance, were plotting to betray him. Darth Krayt intended to kill Fel and take control of the Imperial throne at an upcoming meeting of the Imperial Council of Moffs. Fel absconded from Coruscant, the Imperial throneworld, but deemed it necessary for his double to meet with Krayt at the New Imperial Palace, to buy him time to escape.
Fel's cousin, the Imperial Knight Mohrgan Fel, volunteered to lead three other Knights against Krayt to further the deception. Mohrgan, along with the brown-haired male, and two females stood by the decoy Emperor as he and the Moffs discussed the end of the war and its consequences. When Krayt arrived with three of his fellow Sith Lords, he demanded Fel's life. Mohrgan called on his contingent to protect the Emperor, but Krayt drew two lightsabers and struck them all down, severing the brown-haired male's weapon arm before taking his life. He then slew the decoy Emperor and proclaimed himself Emperor of a new Empire. Fel and the remaining Imperial Knights were forced into exile.
The brown-haired male was an Imperial Knight, a group limited to those with potential in the Force. The Imperial Knights were known as some of the most skilled and dangerous Force users in the galaxy. Although Roan Fel prevented the Imperial Knights from fighting in the Sith–Imperial War, the brown-haired male fought Darth Krayt after the war, where he and three others were quickly defeated by the Sith's two lightsabers.
The brown-haired male was one of the four Imperial Knights who appeared in the first issue of the Star Wars: Legacy comic series. This series was written by John Ostrander, with art by Jan Duursema, and was released in June 2006. The events of this issue were retold in Legacy's eighth issue, which was released in February 2007. In the eighth issue, three of the Knights were still unnamed, and one was named Mohrgan.
