A Mimbanese employee functioned as a technician for the Magistrate Greef Karga, while also acting as an informant for the Galactic Empire's remnant led by Moff Gideon. After receiving instructions to fix the Mandalorian Din Djarin's gunship, known as the Razor Crest, Gideon's remnant instructed the employee to embed a tracking beacon within the starship. The Mimbanese followed through and notified an Imperial comms officer upon completion.
Around the time of 9 ABY, the Mimbanese technician was employed by Magistrate Greef Karga in his city located on the planet Nevarro, where Karga even referred to him as one of "his best men." However, at the same time, the employee was secretly working as an informant for Moff Gideon, who was the leader of a remnant of the Galactic Empire. When the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin arrived to meet with Karga and the city Marshal Cara Dune, Karga tasked the Mimbanese and another employee with repairing the Mandalorian's gunship, the Razor Crest. The Mimbanese employee acknowledged Karga's orders, immediately beginning his work, and glanced back towards Djarin and his foundling, Grogu, as they entered the city.

The Mimbanese established contact with Gideon's remnant, verifying the presence of Grogu, whom Gideon had been actively seeking. The employee received instructions to install a tracking beacon on the Razor Crest during the repair process. After the repairs were completed, Djarin departed from Nevarro. The Mimbanese then re-established contact with Gideon's remnant, informing comms officer Elia Kane that a tracking beacon had been successfully placed on board the Razor Crest. The Imperial officer assured the employee that they would be rewarded in the "new era."
The Mimbanese employee made an appearance in "Chapter 12: The Siege" of The Mandalorian, a Disney+ series created by Jon Favreau, directed by Carl Weathers, and released on November 20, 2020. Credited as "Alien Worker," the employee was portrayed by Ryan Powers.
