After darkness fell, while 4724 was occupied at the outpost's west end, the Jedi and clone troopers began their operation to seize the outpost and steal a Sheathipede-class transport shuttle to reach the village before the impending attack. As the Jedi and clones silently eliminated the droid guards, a B1 battle droid positioned within the outpost's command center requested an update from 4724 regarding the security of the west end. Instead of receiving a response, the B1 unit was swiftly cut down by Skywalker's lightsaber. 4724, along with every other droid at the base, was destroyed, enabling the Republic fighters to steal the shuttle and return to the Lurmen. The Republic forces ultimately prevailed over Durd in battle, with the Jedi and clones destroying his battle droids and the defoliator.
