Separatist command center

The Separatist command center functioned as a command hub employed by the Confederacy of Independent Systems throughout the duration of the Clone Wars. Notably, TX-20 utilized one during the Battle of Ryloth, and similarly, TZ-33 made use of one in the Second Battle of Felucia.

Description

During the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems made use of command centers. Typically, these platforms were manned by B1-series battle droids, and frequently, either a T-series military strategic analysis and tactics droid or a organic overseer. These centers consisted of disc-shaped platforms integrated with computer consoles, supported by four substantial, arching, fang-shaped limbs. These limbs culminated in stabilizing flaps that extended outward, and featured opposing boarding ramps on two sides.

History

Rish Loo is seen standing on a Separatist command center before a conflict on Naboo.

During the Battle of Ryloth, a Separatist command center was established in the city of Nabat. From this center, TX-20 directed the droid forces within the city. However, the battle droids were ultimately defeated by the clone troopers of Ghost Company, led by Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi. TX-20 had an opportunity to eliminate Kenobi, but after pausing to revel in his apparent victory, the tactical droid was overwhelmed by the Twi'leks of Nabat, whom he had been using as human shields.

Later in the Ryloth conflict, an OOM command battle droid oversaw Separatist forces, including Armored Assault Tanks, from a Separatist command center. The droid instructed its tanks to engage approaching All Terrain Tactical Enforcers, led by Jedi General Mace Windu, but Windu and Lightning Squadron advanced despite the enemy fire. The OOM command battle droid then ordered all firepower to be concentrated on Windu's unit, but the tanks were unsuccessful, and along with the battle droids, were destroyed.

The walled outposts that were deployed by the C-9979 landing craft on both Maridun and Felucia each contained a single Separatist command center. These were staffed by B1 battle droids, similarly to the command center on Lola Sayu, which was also personally attended to by Warden Osi Sobeck during the battle that took place there, as well as the command centers on Ryloth.
