In the Clone Wars, the Second Battle of Felucia unfolded as a conflict between the forces of the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance, both vying for dominance over the planet of Felucia. After being compelled to retreat during the First Battle of Felucia, the Republic regained a foothold on the planet through the actions of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano. These two spearheaded an offensive with their clone troopers aimed at Separatist-controlled areas. General Grievous then bolstered one of his outposts on Felucia with reinforcements, aiming to secure the system for the Confederacy as a counter-measure. Skywalker, Tano, and Jedi Master Plo Koon responded to the arrival of the battle droid reinforcements by launching a three-pronged attack on the enemy outpost, each leading a squad to divide the Separatist defenses.
During the engagement, Clone trooper pilot Slider piloted a Clone Z-95 Headhunter. The Jedi and clones, with support from heavy artillery tanks positioned on a nearby ridge, successfully seized the base from T-series military strategic analysis and tactics droid TZ-33, eliminating all droid forces present. However, a group of Trandoshan hunters captured Tano during the battle, taking her to the moon Wasskah to be hunted as a form of sport. Unable to find his Padawan, Skywalker, along with Koon, retreated from Felucia the following day.
The Republic's triumph resulted in Felucia and its surrounding territories falling under their control. Nevertheless, Felucia would later be drawn back into the Clone Wars and became a Separatist stronghold. Regardless, the indigenous Felucians remained neutral, not aligning themselves with the CIS. Near the Clone Wars' conclusion, Jedi General Aayla Secura spearheaded an assault on Felucia.
