Agamar

Agamar, situated in galactic coordinates M-5, was a desolate, rocky planet within the Agamar system of the Outer Rim Territories, a region of the galaxy. During the Clone Wars, following the Separatist defeat on Onderon, General Kalani of the Separatist forces was instructed by Count Dooku to withdraw from Onderon to Agamar. Later, amidst the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire, the rebel cell known as the Spectres encountered Kalani on Agamar, ultimately joining forces to combat the Empire, a common adversary.

Description

Positioned in grid location M-5 on the Standard Galactic Grid, Agamar was a planet within the Agamar system, also referred to as the Mirogoshir system, located in the Outer Rim Territories. Its surface was characterized by rugged, rocky terrain and a chilly environment. Despite this, farmers managed to cultivate the land on Agamar. The atmosphere was suitable for breathing by both humans and Lasats.

History

Clone Wars

In the third year of the Clone Wars, specifically 20 BBY, the Confederacy of Independent Systems held dominion over the planet. Following his defeat in the Onderonian Civil War against the Onderon rebels, Count Dooku commanded General Kalani to retreat to Agamar. Due to Kalani's action of overriding the droid shutdown command, an isolated Separatist holdout remained active on the planet well into the era of the Galactic Empire.

Reign of the Empire

Izak Anzio, a ranger residing on Agamar, chose to leave farming behind and enlist in the Imperial Military by entering an Imperial Academy.

The Spectres and Kalani team up to defeat Imperial forces.

During the time of the Galactic Civil War, Rex, formerly a Clone Captain, and the Spectres journeyed to Agamar to salvage proton bombs for the Phoenix Cell. Rex, along with Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, and Garazeb Orrelios, were swiftly apprehended by Kalani and his B1-series battle droids. Kalani compelled the rebels to participate in a simulated combat scenario against his Separatist holdout with the intention of securing a Separatist victory in the Clone Wars. The rebels successfully overcame the battle droids, and Ezra managed to persuade Kalani and Rex to establish peace. Subsequently, the rebels and Separatist droids united to evade an Imperial assault force, aided by Chopper. Following their departure from the planet in separate Sheathipede-class transport shuttles, both Rex and Kalani recognized it as the definitive conclusion to the war. The droid calculated that the rebels had less than a one percent chance of launching a successful rebellion against the Empire, and they parted ways.
