The Blue Ace, a cutting-edge starship crafted specifically for Torra Doza, was her personal piloted vessel. This bespoke craft, reflecting her character and racing prowess, saw action during the Cold War time period. Equipped to house an astromech droid and possessing variable laser blast power, it was instrumental in Doza's racing career, various missions, and the defense of the Colossus on multiple occasions. Furthermore, it participated in the Battle of Exegol, fighting alongside the Resistance against the forces of the Sith Eternal.
The debut of the Blue Ace occurred in "The Recruit," which served as the inaugural episode of Star Wars Resistance's first season. This episode, initially broadcast on October 7, 2018, was brought to life through the direction of Steward Lee and [Saul Ruiz], with the screenplay penned by Brandon Auman.
In terms of design, Torra's racer drew inspiration from the snowspeeder and initial conceptual artwork created by Ralph McQuarrie.
During the Battle of Exegol, depicted in the 2019 movie Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, the Blue Ace was among the numerous starships comprising the Citizens' Fleet. Industrial Light & Magic developed a photorealistic representation of the ship for its appearance in the film.
