Carib Diss

Carib Diss was a formidable bounty hunter. The Skilla, Diss' species, possessed sensory organs located behind a series of prominent teeth, forcing him to grimace to see. To mitigate his unsettling appearance, Diss utilized a sensor dome on his head, aiding in environmental data collection.

He was indebted to the Spice Runner Vicii for assistance in capturing a bounty. In 35 ABY, he found himself at the Spice Runners' Den on the planet Kijimi within Kijimi City, where he repaid his debt by evacuating Vicii and other smugglers before the Sith Eternal destroyed the planet.

Biography

Carib Diss spent time in the Spice Runners' Den on Kijimi.

During the First Order's occupation of Kijimi City on the planet Kijimi, Carib Diss, a Skilla bounty hunter, resided there. He received help from the Spice Runner Vicii in securing a lucrative bounty during this time, placing him in Vicii's debt. A week later, in 35 ABY, Diss was at his usual spot by the bar in the Spice Runners' Den with an alien companion and a [human](/article/human] patting his back as Zorii Bliss, the Spice Runners' leader, guided a group of Resistance operatives through the establishment.

The presence of Resistance agents prompted the First Order to lock down Kijimi City, initiating a roundup of its inhabitants for questioning. As the Spice Runners planned their escape from Kijimi to avoid the First Order, Vicii reminded them of Diss' outstanding favor, suggesting that the bounty hunter could transport three of them in his starship. Diss honored his commitment by facilitating the escape of Vicii and several other smugglers from Kijimi, just before the Sith Eternal destroyed the entire planet after the First Order evacuated their personnel.

Personality and traits

Carib Diss' unsettling appearance as a bounty hunter stemmed from the unique configuration of his species' sensory organs. His photosensitive orbs for sight, vibrating cilia for hearing, and smell receptors were all positioned on a uvula-like structure hanging from the roof of his expansive mouth. To see, he had to grimace, exposing his sharp teeth which, while protecting vital organs, presented a terrifying visage to most humanoids. Diss, who had gray skin, was aware that his dental hygiene needed improvement.

Equipment

To minimize the time spent with his mouth open, and thus avoid unnecessary intimidation, Diss employed a custom sensor dome as a cap atop his head to gather environmental data. He wore gray-and-orange armor over a brown [jacket](/article/jacket], complemented by gray pants, brown gloves, and boots. A Mandalorian rocket gauntlet on his right arm was equipped with whistling birds. Diss also possessed a ship capable of carrying three passengers.
