Biography

CT-00-2010, who became known as Droidbait, was, like all clone troopers serving in the Grand Army of the Republic, created on the planet Kamino. He was a direct clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, and was a part of the cadet unit called Domino Squad. During the squad's last trial, Droidbait sustained injuries and was abandoned by his fellow squadmates, a violation of the fundamental rule of combat. This led Clone ARC Commander Colt to immediately conclude the test, resulting in Domino Squad's failure. However, El-Les, a bounty hunter employed by the Galactic Republic as a clone cadet instructor, worked with Jedi Master Shaak Ti to grant the unit one final opportunity to pass. Through teamwork and leadership, Droidbait and his squad successfully completed the test. Following their success, Droidbait, along with his brothers—Fives, Echo, Hevy, and Cutup—graduated and were deployed to combat the armies of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and restore order to the Republic.

Battle on the Rishi Moon

In the year 22 BBY, Droidbait, along with his fellow soldiers, found themselves stationed at Rishi Station. This station played a crucial role in defending Kamino from potential Separatist incursions. After the station's deck officer, CT-327, disappeared, Sergeant O'Niner dispatched Droidbait and Nub to investigate the situation. Upon opening the blast door, they were ambushed by commando droids, who eliminated both of them along with O'Niner. This forced the remaining clones to flee through the ventilation shafts. As a result, General Grievous, the Supreme Commander of the Droid Army, was able to navigate through the system and advance towards Kamino without any resistance. However, Grievous's triumph was short-lived, as Clone Commander CC-2224 "Cody" and Clone Captain CT-7567 "Rex" arrived on the moon and assisted the surviving troopers in regaining control of the outpost and alerting the Republic fleet about the impending assault.

Later, having lost communication with the commando droids, Grievous, seeking to maintain the base's false all-clear signal, deployed a C-9979 landing craft carrying a substantial force of battle droids to reinforce the commando droids and secure control of the base. However, the droids, unaware of the trap that awaited them, entered the control room and were swiftly annihilated by Hevy, who ultimately detonated the base. This action enabled the Republic to detect and thwart Grievous's invading fleet.

Personality and traits

Droidbait acquired his moniker due to his complaints about being used as bait to lure out adversaries during Domino Squad's exercises. Droidbait became frustrated when squad morale declined as they failed crucial exercises, but the group would eventually unite.
