Stone Spires

The Stone Spires, alternatively known as the devastated settlement, marked a location situated near the Rambler's Reach Valley on the Outer Rim planet of Koboh. This region contained the remnants of a village, which dated back to the High Republic Era. This village met its end following an Emergence that led to the destruction of Koboh's moon. Functioning as the primary settlement for Jedi and Republic scientists, the village was dedicated to researching the Koboh Abyss nebula and the enigmatic Koboh matter. However, it was obliterated when seismic activity, triggered by the moon's demise, caused the ground beneath the village to collapse into a volcanic rift. The surface fractured, resulting in the uninhibited flow of lava. The resulting pressure found release through naturally occurring fissures. Over time, the local inhabitants of Koboh began to identify the exposed ruins as the Stone Spires.

By 9 BBY, navigating the Stone Spires became a hazardous undertaking. Despite these dangers, the Bedlam Raiders, a group of local marauders, established a defensive position there to impede Jedi Knight Cal Kestis, who was exploring the area in his quest for an Abyss compass. Within the Grand Courtyard, which was bordered by a large manse reminiscent of the Jedi Temple found on Coruscant, Kestis employed psychometry to witness the destruction of the compass by two Jedi using their lightsabers. This event was immediately followed by Dagan Gera's enraged and ruthless slaughter of the same two Jedi.
