CT-00-2010, known as Droidbait, was a clone trooper who served within Domino Squad. This squad was composed of clone cadets in the Grand Army of the Galactic Republic. During the period of conflict known as the Clone Wars, Droidbait found himself stationed at a Republic Military outpost situated on the Rishi moon. It was there where he met his end at the hands of BX-series droid commandos.
Like all clone troopers serving the Grand Army of the Republic, Droidbait, designated CT-00-2010, was created on the planet of Kamino through the process of cloning. He was a genetic duplicate of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, and a member of the cadet group Domino Squad. During the squad's culminating evaluation, Droidbait sustained an injury and was abandoned by his fellow squadmates, a violation of fundamental combat protocol. This caused Clone ARC Commander Colt to immediately terminate the test, resulting in Domino Squad's automatic failure. However, El-Les, a bounty hunter employed by the Galactic Republic as an instructor for clone cadets, negotiated with Jedi Master Shaak Ti to grant the unit one final opportunity to succeed. Through demonstrated leadership and collaborative effort, Droidbait and his squad successfully completed the test. Following their success, Droidbait along with his brothers—Fives, Echo, Hevy, and Cutup—graduated and were deployed to combat the armies of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, with the aim of restoring peace within the Republic.

In the year 22 BBY, Droidbait and his fellow soldiers were stationed at Rishi Station, a crucial defensive point for protecting Kamino from potential Separatist incursions. Following the disappearance of the station's deck officer, CT-327, Sergeant O'Niner dispatched Droidbait and Nub to investigate the situation. Upon opening the blast door, they were ambushed by commando droids, who eliminated both of them, as well as O'Niner. This forced the remaining clones to seek refuge in the ventilation system. This, in turn, enabled General Grievous, the Supreme Commander of the Droid Army, to traverse the system and head directly to Kamino without resistance. However, the general's triumph was short-lived as Clone Commander CC-2224 "Cody" and Clone Captain CT-7567 "Rex" arrived on the moon and assisted the remaining troopers in regaining control of the outpost and alerting the Republic fleet to the impending assault.
Subsequently, after communication with the commando droids was lost, Grievous, aiming to maintain the base's "all-clear" signal, deployed a C-9979 landing craft carrying a substantial force of battle droids to reinforce the commando droids and secure control of the base. However, the droids, unaware of the trap that awaited them, entered the control room and were swiftly annihilated by Hevy, who ultimately detonated the base, allowing the Republic to detect and thwart Grievous's invading fleet.
Droidbait acquired his moniker due to his complaints about being used as bait to lure out adversaries during Domino Squad's training exercises. When the squad's morale faltered due to repeated failures in crucial exercises, Droidbait experienced frustration, but the squad would eventually unite and work together.
