Endente was a Sugi who operated as a seller of weaponry. At some point, he entered into an agreement with Governor Torul Blom and Count Dooku to supply a massive kyber crystal to the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
During the Clone Wars, Endente led a group of Sugi who specialized in arms dealing. In the year 19 BBY, Endente engaged in negotiations with Count Dooku, who was the leader of the Separatist Alliance, to sell a substantial kyber crystal. Furthermore, he had formed an alliance with the corrupt Governor Torul Blom around the time he was trying to sell the valuable item.
Later, Endente, along with his second-in-command, Chong, captured Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker and made preparations to deliver the crystal to his Separatist clients in Pau City. Count Dooku explicitly stated that failure would result in the loss of both money and life for the arms dealer. Endente reassured the impatient Sith Lord that the delivery would be on schedule, prompting Dooku to ominously promise him what he "deserves." The avaricious Sugi presumed the Serennian count would triple his payment.
Ultimately, Endente lost the transport carrying the crystal when Kenobi and Skywalker seized it. However, he still managed to arrive in the city on his speeder. Soon after his arrival, he headed to Governor Blom's office. As he began to speak, Endente noticed that he and the Pau'an were not alone. He then saw General Grievous, Count Dooku's enforcer. The cyborg warlord was equally displeased and demanded to know the crystal's whereabouts. The Sugi attempted to conceal his failure by asserting that the merchandise would be delivered on time. Grievous sarcastically inquired if the Jedi were also part of the plan, before revealing his knowledge of Endente's loss. The droid general declared that he had no further dealings with Endente. Grievous seized the terrified arms dealer and decapitated him, throwing his body across the room. Grievous then proceeded to confront the two Jedi himself.
Endente's first appearance was in an unfinished episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, "In Search of the Crystal." James Hong provided his voice, also voicing Azmorigan in Star Wars Rebels.
