The Imperial labor camp, situated on the planet of Erebus, functioned as a labor camp under the authority of the Galactic Empire. This site incorporated both a substantial walled-off prison complex and a mining facility, where the imprisoned were compelled to perform labor. Noteworthy inmates in 18 BBY included the disgraced former Vice Admiral Edmon Rampart, whose imprisonment stemmed from the exposure of his involvement in the attack on Kamino. The facility was under the command of a warden. During this period, Clone Force 99 executed an infiltration of the camp. They seized control of one of the HCVw A9 turbo tanks used for prisoner transportation and extracted Rampart to learn the location of Tantiss Base from him.

Overseen by the Galactic Empire, the Imperial labor camp served as a prison located on the planet of Erebus. The primary structure was a formidable walled fortress, distinguished by a towering tower and a single gate utilized by the HCVw A9 turbo tanks that transported prisoners. A heavily guarded road connected the prison to a mining operation on the shores of a lake. Here, prisoners toiled under harsh conditions in rotating shifts. Retractable roadblocks and observation towers ensured the security of the prison's perimeter. In the event of a security breach, several Low Altitude Assault Transports, manned by TK stormtroopers, stood ready to respond. Furthermore, scouts conducted constant patrols of the grounds to deter potential attackers. Mined resources were transported off-world aboard class four container transports, escorted by Rho-class transport shuttles.
In the year 18 BBY, Imperial Navy Vice Admiral Edmon Rampart faced arrest after Senator Riyo Chuchi exposed his connection to the attack on Kamino. This revelation led to his disgrace and subsequent sentencing by the Galactic Emperor himself, Sheev Palpatine. Following his arrest, Rampart was incarcerated at the Erebus prison, where he was assigned to serve his sentence as a forced laborer.
Later in the same year, Clone Force 99 executed an infiltration of the facility. This action followed the Advanced Science Division's tracking of the group to the island sanctuary of Pabu and their subsequent invasion of the city, which compelled Omega to surrender. With the location of Tantiss Base, where Omega was taken, unknown, Force 99 resolved to extract and interrogate Rampart to obtain the coordinates. They planned their infiltration of Erebus with the assistance of pirate Phee Genoa. Successfully navigating the site's perimeter, Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair boarded the transport vehicle carrying Rampart at the end of his work shift. They subdued the TK stormtroopers operating the vehicle and seized control. However, the warden discovered the ruse and dispatched another Juggernaut, Transport Two, with orders to destroy their vehicle before it could cross the bridge leading to the prison grounds. The Bad Batch managed to disable the Imperial transport and breach the bridge's defenses, allowing them to escape the perimeter and enter a canyon. There, they faced an attack by LAATs, which deployed TK troopers onto the roof of their transport. The Bad Batch, aided by Genoa and her ship, the Providence, successfully evaded the troopers and escaped Erebus with Rampart.
