The Mandalorian secret covert was a covert that the Children of the Watch established. This base was situated within a cave system near a water source on a barren terrestrial planet. This new location was chosen after they had previously maintained a Mandalorian covert on the Glavis Ringworld. This covert was made up of numerous Mandalorian warriors, including Paz Vizsla, the Heavy Infantry Mandalorian, as well as children, and was under the leadership of "The Armorer." During Ragnar's recitation of the Mandalorian Creed vows, a large reptilian creature attacked the covert. Though they initially struggled against the beast, Din Djarin, flying his modified N-1 starfighter, ultimately saved them.
Following an attack by an Imperial remnant on Bo-Katan Kryze's castle on Kalevala, Lady Kryze and Djarin sought refuge at the covert. While there, Djarin presented evidence to the covert that Mandalore, including its mines and the Living Waters, had survived the purge. Consequently, both Djarin and Kryze were welcomed into the covert.
Captain Carson Teva, a pilot from the New Republic, arrived at the covert to request assistance from the Mandalorians. He explained that the Pirate Nation, led by the Pirate King Gorian Shard, had seized control of the city on Nevarro. In response to this plea, the Mandalorians traveled back to Nevarro, successfully defeated the pirates, and as a result, were granted land on the planet.
