R4-G9

R4-G9, a feminine astromech droid, showcased a white exterior with bronze trim and a green sensor. Near the conclusion of the Clone Wars in 19 BBY, she was designated to serve Jedi Aayla Secura, and subsequently, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. She took the place of Kenobi's previous droid, R4-P17, after its destruction by buzz droids while it assisted her master during the Battle of Coruscant.

R4-G9 was transported to Pau City on the planet Utapau. There, following negotiations between Kenobi and the Pau'an Tion Medon, Kenobi instructed her to pilot his Jedi interceptor back to the Vigilance to brief Commander Cody and prepare the 212th Attack Battalion for the impending Battle of Utapau.
