This chamber was quite expansive, accommodating at least two hundred individuals. Illumination was provided by candledroids, and the room was adorned with sizable colored stained-glass windows. A raised platform, or dais, was present, upon which rested the golden thrones designated for the monarch and their consort. A blue and gold carpet created a visual pathway that extended through the chamber, leading directly to the dais. At the chamber's rear, a door opened to an outdoor terrace, offering a stunning vista of the adjacent lake and surrounding mountains.
Additionally, the throne room included a dedicated antechamber. This smaller room could be reached via a concealed passage through the palace's former armory. A velvet curtain served as a partition between the antechamber and the main throne room near the doorway.
On important occasions, such as the heir's Day of Demand, the Crown of Alderaan was showcased within the throne room, accompanied by its own candledroid for illumination. Historically, Alderaanian heirs were required to physically fight their way into the throne room as part of their Day of Demand ritual.
