Telan Medon, a Pau'an hailing from Utapau, held the position of Port Administrator for Pau City on that planet during the time of the Second Imperial Civil War. Spanning from 130 to 138 ABY, Medon consistently granted the Core Fleet of the Galactic Alliance Remnant a secure refuge, shielding them from the might of the Galactic Empire led by Sith Lord Darth Krayt. In 138 ABY, following a battle between the Alliance fleet and Krayt's Empire, Medon extended a welcome to Alliance Admiral Gar Stazi in Pau City. However, a mouse droid secretly captured their conversation. News of Utapau's protection of the Empire's adversaries reached Krayt's Sith; nevertheless, Cade Skywalker, a Sith hunter, successfully prevented Vul Isen, a Sith scientist, from poisoning the planet as retribution.

During the Second Imperial Civil War, Telan Medon, a Pau'an residing on the planet of Utapau, fulfilled the role of Port Administrator in Pau City. Pau City was a sizable city located within a sinkhole that descended far into the planet's depths. The conflict saw Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, a Sith-dominated organization governing much of the galaxy, clash with various rebel groups, including the Galactic Alliance Remnant. Displaying sympathy for the Remnant, Medon consistently offered its fleet a haven, protecting them from Krayt's Empire for eight years commencing in 130 ABY.
Following the poisoning of the oceans on Dac by the Sith scientist Vul Isen in 138 ABY, the Remnant fleet orchestrated a large-scale evacuation of the water world, incurring significant losses in a subsequent engagement with Krayt's forces. In the aftermath of this battle, Medon welcomed the fleet to Pau City, personally greeting its commander, Admiral Gar Stazi, upon his arrival. As the wounded disembarked from the ships, Stazi assured Medon of their swift departure.
Unbeknownst to them, a mouse droid belonging to Muerdo, an Utai spy working for the Hutt crime lord Vedo Anjiliac Atirue, recorded their conversation. Vedo then relayed this information to the Sith, aiming to ensnare Isen. Having also poisoned the Hutt moon of Da Soocha, Vedo, seeking vengeance, employed Cade Skywalker, a former Jedi who was actively hunting Sith, to travel to Utapau and eliminate Isen, suspecting he would target the Pau'ans for sheltering Krayt's enemies. Vedo's scheme succeeded, and Skywalker killed Isen on Utapau, averting a poisonous fate for the planet just in time.
During their conflict with Darth Krayt's Empire, Telan Medon sympathized with the Galactic Alliance Remnant, consistently providing their fleet with a safe haven from Krayt's forces for eight years. Given the Pau'ans' historical support for the Galactic Republic, a past government, Medon viewed aiding the Alliance as upholding tradition. Furthermore, the Port Administrator regarded Krayt's Sith as malevolent and dedicated himself to opposing their wickedness, particularly condemning the genocide on Dac and refusing to condone it as the Port Administrator of Pau City.
Medon maintained a friendly relationship with Alliance Admiral Gar Stazi, who felt comfortable addressing him by his first name. Medon had yellow teeth, black and blue eyes, and light gray skin patterned with dark gray pinstripes.
Medon was seen wearing red clothing, including a cape and a high collar.
Telan Medon made an appearance in the forty-ninth issue of the Star Wars: Legacy comic series. Penned by John Ostrander and illustrated by Jan Duursema, the issue was published by Dark Horse Comics on June 30, 2010. Despite sharing a surname with Tion Medon, a Pau City Port Administrator from the Clone Wars era featured in the 2005 film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, no confirmed connection exists between the two characters.
