A clone sergeant fought for the 501st Legion during the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance. Serving within Torrent Company, which was a company of the 501st, this Clone Sergeant participated in the Battle of Teth in 22 BBY. During that battle, they were among the clone troopers distinguished by blue markings on their clone trooper armor; their markings were distinct and unworn. The sergeant met their death before the battle concluded.
This clone trooper was created on the planet of Kamino, using the DNA of bounty hunter Jango Fett. Fett's genetic code served as the template for the clones within the Republic Military. The clone served as a clone trooper in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Early in the war, they held the rank of Clone Sergeant in Torrent Company of the 501st Legion, fighting alongside Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, and Clone Captain Rex.
After the Battle of Christophsis in 22 BBY, Torrent Company, accompanied by two AT-TEs, was dispatched to Teth to rescue Rotta, the son of Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure. This rescue was intended to secure an alliance between the Republic and the Hutt Clan, granting access to crucial hyperspace routes leading into the Outer Rim Territories. The sergeant was aboard the gunship carrying General Skywalker, Commander Tano, Captain Rex, and the clone trooper Ridge. As the gunships approached the B'omarr Order Monastery perched atop a high mesa, they encountered anti-air fire from the Separatists, resulting in minor damage. Once the gunships landed near the mesa's base, Rex ordered all [troopers](/article/trooper], including the sergeant, to disembark.

After the Republic forces used grappling guns to ascend the mesa and seize the B'omarr Order Monastery on Teth, the sergeant joined Skywalker, Tano, Captain Rex, and other clone troopers, including two with faded blue markings, to investigate the monastery's interior. Upon discovering the Separatist operative 4-A7, Skywalker instructed Rex and the others to remain at the entrance while he and Tano proceeded further inside to rescue Rotta. Rex and his troops then moved outside the monastery.
After Skywalker and Tano located Rotta, the sergeant informed Rex that a survey of the area revealed no remaining Separatist droids. However, a Separatist counterattack soon commenced on the monastery, prompting the clone troopers, including the sergeant, to engage them at the courtyard entrance. Following the destruction of their single AT-TE, Republic forces were compelled to retreat into the monastery. The sergeant was among the troopers who remained as General Skywalker communicated orders to the unit, with input from Tano. Skywalker and Tano withdrew deeper inside, as the remaining clone forces defended the entrance. When Separatist forces broke through the doors, a fierce firefight erupted, resulting in significant casualties for the company. Eventually, the surviving members of Torrent Company were taken prisoner. By the time Rex and the remaining clones were held captive in the courtyard, the sergeant had died. However, the arrival of reinforcements from the 212th Attack Battalion shifted the battle in favor of the Republic.
This clone sergeant utilized Phase I clone trooper armor, which was distinguished by blue markings. Unlike at least two other clone troopers within their unit, the sergeant's blue markings remained sharp and unworn. The clone employed a DC-15A blaster rifle during combat.
The clone sergeant's initial appearance was in the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where Dee Bradley Baker, who also voiced all other clone troopers in the film, provided their voice.
