The Mandalorian secret covert was a covert that the Children of the Watch established. This occurred within a cave system located near a body of water on a barren terrestrial planet. This establishment followed their previous Mandalorian covert on the Glavis Ringworld. The covert was comprised of many Mandalorian warriors, including Paz Vizsla, the Heavy Infantry Mandalorian, and children. "The Armorer" served as their leader. During Ragnar's recitation of the Mandalorian Creed vows, a large reptilian creature attacked the covert. Initially struggling against the beast, Din Djarin rescued the covert using his modified N-1 starfighter. After an attack by an Imperial remnant on Lady Bo-Katan Kryze's castle on Kalevala, Djarin and Kryze sought refuge at the covert. While there, Djarin provided the covert with evidence confirming that Mandalore, its mines, and the Living Waters had survived the purge. Both Djarin and Kryze were then welcomed into the covert.
Captain Carson Teva, a pilot from the New Republic, approached the Mandalorians at the covert, requesting assistance. He explained that the Pirate Nation, under the leadership of the Pirate King Gorian Shard, had seized control of the city of Nevarro. Responding to this plea, the Mandalorians journeyed to Nevarro, successfully defeated the pirates, and, as a result, were granted land on the planet.
