A planet existed far off, situated within the Outer Rim Territories. Its surface consisted of mountains and plains, the latter displaying purple and green grass; its atmosphere was type I, making it breathable for humans.
Around the time of 0 ABY, following an encounter at the Citadel of Rur (a space-based fortress) with Imperial Captain Magna Tolvan, the archaeologist Chelli Aphra, a rogue, transported Tolvan to this planet using her Lambda-class T-4a shuttle. Aphra, alongside her father, Korin, abandoned Tolvan on the planet, and also left her RA-7 protocol droid. Tolvan eventually managed to leave, but was demoted to the rank of lieutenant because of the losses experienced at the Citadel of Rur.
This planet initially appeared in the comic-book series Star Wars: Doctor Aphra (2016), specifically in its sixth issue. Kieron Gillen wrote the issue, Kev Walker provided the illustrations, and Marvel Comics released it on April 12, 2017.
