Unidentified Warthog pirate

This Warthog freebooter was the pilot of Pirate King Gorian Shard's flagship, a Cumulus-class Corsair, in 9 ABY. During that year, Vane, a Kajain'sa'Nikto pirate, and several other pirates found themselves pursued by the Mandalorian Din Djarin. Vane, the sole survivor of the ambush, sought refuge on Shard's Corsair as Djarin's N-1 starfighter neared the massive vessel.

While Shard and Djarin were in the middle of a dispute, the Warthog pirate maintained his position at the ship's controls, observing the intense exchange. Djarin, after advising Grogu to distrust pirates, utilized his sublight engines to evade Shard and his pirate group.

Subsequently, Shard and his pirate group launched an invasion of the planet Nevarro following the death of Shard's pilot at the hands of High Magistrate Greef Karga. Enraged, Shard initiated an aerial bombardment of Nevarro City, compelling Karga and numerous civilians to seek shelter in the lava fields. Desperate, Karga reached out to the New Republic for assistance. Carson Teva received his plea and subsequently enlisted Djarin and the Children of the Watch to confront the pirate group.

Following a discussion, Djarin and Lady Bo-Katan Kryze engaged the pirate group in combat on the planet's surface. During the clash, the Warthog pirate was at the helm of Shard's Corsair, as Shard barked orders at his Ugnaught coxswain. After all Snub Fighters had been destroyed, with the exception of Vane, who deserted Shard and his crew, the coxswain suggested they retreat. Shard, refusing to yield, shoved the Warthog pirate aside in a final attempt to eliminate Djarin and Kryze. However, the two Mandalorians destroyed his final engine, causing Shard, the Warthog pirate, and the rest of the crew to crash onto Nevarro.

The Warthog pirate made his debut in "Chapter 17: The Apostate," the seventeenth installment of the Disney+ show The Mandalorian, which was helmed by Rick Famuyiwa. Ian Goodwin played the role.
