A female Sith who achieved the rank of Je'daii Master, Xiang presided over Bodhi, the Temple dedicated to the arts. She was a member of the Je'daii Order on Tython when the Infinite Empire was at its peak.
Xiang, a Forceful Sith, was a member of the Je'daii Order residing on the planet Tython. She was a student of Je'daii Master Brock, and later became an instructor under his guidance at the Bodhi Temple. During the time of the Stargazer Uprising, Je'daii Temple Master Lha-Mi organized a clandestine meeting with Je'daii Ranger Lanoree Brock. This meeting took place aboard his Peacemaker-class cruiser, situated in a secluded area approximately thirty kilometers to the south of Akar Kesh. Xiang received an invitation to participate, alongside Masters Dam-Powl, Tem Madog, a Wookiee, and another individual. Lha-Mi convened this secret gathering to address the escalating issue of Dalien Brock's Stargazer cult. Xiang informed Brock that her selection was due to her previous work on the Hang Layden accords on Kalimahr, a successful mission to Nox, and her successful termination of the leader of Wookiee dissidents on Ska Gora, Gharcanna; but also because of the familial connection between Dalien and Lanoree, who were siblings. Brock and his followers had the desire to leave the Tython system and intended to do so by activating a hypergate that was rumored to be hidden deep within the Old City, located far within the Red Desert on the continent known as Talss. Xiang and the other Masters were concerned that Brock intended to use ancient technology from the Gree to construct a device capable of creating dark matter. They theorized that if activated on Tython, this dark matter could potentially tear open a black hole, leading to the destruction of the entire system. To prevent widespread panic and avoid inadvertently garnering support for Brock's cause by sending a larger group to apprehend him (or worse), the Masters concluded that a lone Ranger would be the most effective approach.
