Biography

Stories with Soran

Around 5 ABY during the time of the Galactic Civil War, Creet served as a TIE mechanic for the Galactic Empire within the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, working as part of the crew on one of their Quasar Fire-class cruiser carriers. In that year, the 204th captured the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Edict, which the fighter wing then incorporated into their forces. Creet was present at a celebration held to welcome survivors from the Edict into the 204th. However, during the gathering, Lieutenant Nord Kandende, one of the 204th's pilots, announced that the New Republic had taken the astronomical object Andara from the Empire, a piece of news that had already spread amongst the personnel in the Aerie's hangar.

Major Soran Keize, the commanding officer of the 204th, instructed the present squadron commanders to take their pilots away, leaving behind the crew of the Edict and the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carriers Aerie and Allegiance. The Allegiance had been destroyed shortly before to provide parts to repair the star destroyer. The crew shared stories about Andara and the lost Allegiance while Keize listened. Creet emphasized that they could not allow the New Republic to continue winning, and she questioned whether the New Republic believed they had already won, referencing Keize's brief period of living under New Republic rule.

Keize confirmed Creet's concerns, prompting the mechanic to insist that the 204th should retaliate against the New Republic for the people of Andara. Keize assured her that the fighter wing was already engaged in such efforts. Creet then inquired about Keize's experience living under New Republic rule. Keize answered Creet's question by telling the assembled crew that the New Republic seemed incapable of governing effectively, leading to societal breakdown and shortages on various worlds.

Fall of the Empire

Shortly thereafter, the 204th fought a battle group of the New Republic within the Cerberon system, resulting in the loss of both the Edict and Aerie during the initial attack. Ultimately, the fighter wing managed to escape on a bulk freighter, which then became their headquarters and was named the Yadeez. While aboard the Yadeez, the 204th continued to operate in support of the Empire's loyalist forces before eventually joining the majority of them on the planet Jakku. During their stay there, several members of the fighter wing, including Creet, held a gathering in the Yadeez's hangar. After Keize joined the celebration, the officer in command, who had since been promoted to [colonel](/article/colonel], and the mechanic helped Bansu Ro, a pilot who was under the influence of narcotics, to his bunk.

Creet stood behind Keize and squeezed his arm as he spoke to Ro. Afterward, they both returned to the celebration. Shortly after, the New Republic launched an attack on the Empire's forces at Jakku, securing a decisive victory. The 204th suffered significant casualties, and the Yadeez was destroyed. Creet became separated from the fighter wing and managed to avoid capture by the New Republic. Within four months following the Battle of Jakku, she was approached by Nath Tensent, a former New Republic pilot. Tensent successfully recruited her to join his crew of freelancers, and he also recruited Kandende. When he later attempted to recruit Ro, he mentioned the recruitment of Creet and Kandende to persuade the other 204th veteran to join his crew on the planet Freerock.
