Galdros was a human attuned to the Force, a Jedi serving within the ranks of the Jedi Order during the age known as the High Republic Era. Back in 231 BBY, Galdros found himself aboard the starcruiser called Ataraxia, where the Jedi were monitoring the activities of Jedi Knights Keeve Trennis and Terec. These Knights were infiltrating the Nihil marauder group, an operation designed to look into whispers about the group's new Eye and to determine who they were.
After the Twi'lek Lourna Dee, who the Jedi thought to be the previous Eye and presumed dead, made a shocking reappearance, she unleashed the Great Leveler creature against Trennis and Terec. The pursuit of this threat brought the Ataraxia to the planet Xais, where Galdros and Jedi Knight Nooranbakarakana were instructed to stay onboard the Ataraxia, while Jedi Masters Marshal Avar Kriss and Sskeer went out to rescue Trennis and Terec.
Galdros, a human sensitive to the Force, was a Jedi in the service of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. Following the Nihil marauder organization's attack on the Republic Fair on the planet Valo in 231 BBY, the Jedi and the Galactic Republic launched a counterstrike against the Nihil. The Jedi at the space station Starlight Beacon believed that the Nihil forces were scattering and disorganized after the supposed death of the Twi'lek Lourna Dee, their suspected Eye, during the Battle of Galov. To investigate rumors of a new Eye succeeding Dee and to uncover their identity, Jedi Knights Keeve Trennis and Terec were tasked with infiltrating the Nihil ranks.
While the Knights were undercover at a Nihil gas foundry on the planet Xais, Galdros was stationed on the Jedi starcruiser Ataraxia under the command of Jedi Master Marshal Avar Kriss. From there, they monitored the two infiltrators through Terec's connection to his bond-twin Ceret. Galdros was at a computer terminal when Kriss and Ceret discussed whether they could still sense Terec, which Ceret confirmed. Shortly after, the Jedi Knights' cover was compromised, and a skirmish erupted. During this conflict, Dee revealed her survival and unleashed the Great Leveler, a creature that preyed on Force-sensitives, turning them to stone. As Terec and Ceret began to turn into stone due to their connection, Ceret used that same link to guide the Ataraxia to Xais.
Upon arrival, the Ataraxia was targeted by Nihil fighters. In response, Kriss ordered Galdros and the Jedi Knight Nooranbakarakana to remain on the Ataraxia while she and Jedi Master Sskeer confronted the enemy. As the two Jedi departed, Nooran expressed faith that the Force would guide them, and Galdros reported that their sensors detected a second wave of Nihil fighters. Ultimately, Kriss and Sskeer successfully rescued Trennis and Terec, and they all returned to Starlight Beacon.
When aboard the Ataraxia, Galdros was seen wearing traditional brown Jedi robes.
The first, though uncredited, appearance of Galdros was in the tenth issue of the 2021 comic series titled Star Wars: The High Republic, which was released as part of Phase I of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project. This issue was penned by Cavan Scott, the artwork was done by Georges Jeanty, and it was published by Marvel Comics on October 20, 2021. The character's name was revealed in the eleventh issue, also written by Scott, with art by Jeanty, and released by Marvel on November 10 of the same year.
