A non-canon animated short, "LEGO Star Wars - 25 Years," was made available on April 26, 2024. It is a part of the LEGO STAR WARS: Celebrate the Season series.
The short film begins with Anakin Skywalker and Sebulba engaged in a race using podracers during the Boonta Eve Classic. Skywalker gains ground on Sebulba, who then mocks him. Sebulba attempts to crash into Skywalker's podracer, but instead collides with a rock formation. Skywalker emerges victorious and is met with the crowd's cheers. Shortly thereafter, Darth Maul makes his entrance aboard his starship, the Scimitar. Skywalker takes cover behind a wall as Maul searches the area. The shadow of Darth Vader then becomes visible on the wall.
Following this, the video transitions to Darth Vader attacking rebel troopers utilizing his lightsaber on the Tantive IV. Stormtroopers move further into the ship. C-3PO and R2-D2 are seen fleeing past the Sith Lord. The video then quickly shifts to R2-D2 encouraging Luke Skywalker, who finds himself trapped within the swamps of Dagobah. Luke employs the Force to lift his T-65 X-wing starfighter. Jedi Master Yoda is shown sitting atop the starfighter's canopy.
Next, the video goes back to a scene of Yoda handing his lightsaber to Kai Brightstar while in the company of his friends Lys Solay, Nubs, and Nash Durango. Subsequently, they embark on a journey aboard the Crimson Firehawk. The video then transitions to a scene of an Imperial Star Destroyer chasing the Millennium Falcon through an asteroid field. As the Star Destroyer becomes ensnared by asteroids, Han Solo, Leia Organa, Luke, Chewbacca, and Obi-Wan Kenobi express their joy.
The video then cuts to Kenobi and a young Princess Leia running away from the Grand Inquisitor, Reva Sevander, and Fifth Brother through a wooded area. When they are blocked by a log, Kenobi ignites his lightsaber. The video then cuts back to Kenobi, Anakin, and a clone trooper fighting droidekas and battle droids on Geonosis. Ahsoka Tano and Huyang arrive on their T-6 shuttle and destroy the battle droids. Skywalker then leaps onto the exterior of the shuttle.
The video then shows the Ghost ship landing on a forested planet. Hera Syndulla, Chopper, Ezra Bridger, and Sabine Wren exit the ship and begin a firefight with stormtroopers. Saw Gerrera, [Cassian Jeron Andor](/article/cassian_jeron_andor], Cal Kestis, and BD-1 arrive to assist them, forcing the stormtroopers to retreat. The stormtroopers run into the path of Din Grogu and Din Djarin, who defeat them using a combination of Force abilities and the Darksaber.
Afterward, Grogu and Djarin engage in a speeder race against the Millennium Falcon and Poe Dameron's Black One T-70 X-wing starfighter. Ultimately, they all arrive at the Great Temple located on Yavin 4 for a celebratory get-together.
