Pavol

Pavol's existence was that of a cloned feline humanoid. During the era of the Galactic Civil War, he and his cloned lover, Aleksin, were renowned as experts in hand-to-hand combat. Before the events of the Battle of Hoth, they offered their expertise to the gambler Lando Calrissian to accumulate sufficient money for the purchase of a clone to raise as their own. During the theft of Imperialis, the opulent yacht belonging to the Emperor, both Pavol and Aleksin succumbed to the influence of the dark side of the Force. Subsequently, Pavol met his demise during a confrontation with Chanath Cha, a bounty hunter and a former associate of Lando.

Biography

Lando's heist

During the Age of the Empire, Pavol existed as a feline humanoid clone warrior. He and his clone partner, Aleksin, were celebrated warriors, known for their mastery of close-quarters combat. When the gambler Lando Calrissian conceived a plan to pilfer a luxury starship owned by a wealthy Imperial official from Sienar Fleet Systems's Orbital Shipyard CC-24 above the planet Castell, Lando, accompanied by Lobot, sought out Pavol and Aleksin to enlist their aid. Impressed by their prowess displayed against dueling droids, Lando decided to engage Pavol and Aleksin as armed support for his heist.

Pavol, Aleksin, Lando, Lobot, along with Korin Pers, an Ugnaught expert in antiquities, infiltrated the shipyard utilizing stealth suits. Following Pavol and Aleksin's subjugation of the stormtrooper sentries, the group commandeered the yacht and launched into space. However, the yacht was, in fact, the Imperialis, a pleasure vessel belonging to Palpatine, the Emperor. Before Lando and Lobot could initiate a jump to hyperspace, the Emperor deployed three Imperial Star Destroyers to reclaim the vessel. Pavol and Aleksin observed as the yacht skillfully evaded Imperial gravity mines. The group successfully escaped after Lando executed a daring maneuver, seizing onto one of the Star Destroyer's tractor beams and directing it toward its adjacent sister ship. As the two Star Destroyers collided, Calrissian and Lobot fled into the vast expanse of space.

After their escape, Pavol and Aleksin embraced. The two clones then accompanied Lando, Lobot, and Korin in an exploration of the ship. Upon entering the locked central chamber, Lobot was impaled through his abdomen by a vibroblade wielded by one of a pair of Imperial Royal Guards. While Lando and Korin escorted Lobot to safety, Pavol and Aleksin engaged the Royal Guards in combat, employing daggers. Following a fierce engagement, Pavol and Aleksin managed to eliminate both guards by the time Lando and Korin returned with blasters. They discovered that the Royal Guards had been guarding several Sith artifacts, including the mask of Lord Momin.

Consumed by the darkness

As Lando and Korin debated the disposition of their acquisitions, Aleksin became fixated on the Sith helmet, crafted by the Sith Lord Darth Momin. He was influenced by the dark side presence within and activated a double-bladed lightsaber. When Pavol touched Aleksin's right shoulder, Aleksin erupted in a fit of rage, severing Pavol's lower right arm. As the two confronted each other, Lando and Korin withdrew from the central chamber, sealing the heavy alloy door behind them. While Lando believed Aleksin had betrayed them, Korin posited that Aleksin had been corrupted by the Sith artifacts, referencing the disfigured faces of the slain Royal Guards.

Calrissian expressed a desire to return to the chamber and aid Pavol, but Korin was resolute in their escape. Inside the chamber, Pavol knelt before the armed Aleksin, inquiring about the cause of his transformation, while tending to his wounded arm. When Aleksin mocked him for the loss of his arm, Pavol attempted to reason with him, reminding Aleksin of their plan to utilize the proceeds from Lando's heist to acquire a clone to raise as their child. When Aleksin retorted that none of his offspring would have a one-armed parent, Pavol denounced him as a monster and seized a vibroblade. Sensing Pavol's anger, Aleksin provoked him into a fight.

Pavol, too, was influenced by the Sith artifacts. He decided to join forces with Aleksin in seizing the cargo for themselves and eliminating the others. The two employed their Sith lightsabers to cut their way out of the central chamber. Pavol and Aleksin soon encountered Lando, Korin, and Chanath Cha, a bounty hunter, an old acquaintance of Lando and a former lover of Lobot. Aleksin demanded that the others relinquish their ship. Pavol was present when Aleksin deceived Korin into joining them with the promise of treasure. He witnessed Aleksin slay Korin with his double-bladed lightsaber.

After Chanath sealed the door, Pavol pursued her. He cornered her in the docking bay and attacked her with his lightsaber. Chanath seized his hand and declared that he had missed his opportunity. She attempted to shoot him with her blaster pistol, but Pavol severed it with his lightsaber. Chanath attempted to reason with Pavol, pointing out that he had lost his arm and that he was more afraid of the lightsaber than her. When that failed, Chanath drew her knife. Following a struggle, Chanath managed to kill Pavol with a stab to the chest. Simultaneously, Lando killed Aleksin. Pavol's remains were obliterated when Chanath initiated the self-destruction sequence of the Imperialis as per the Emperor's instructions.
