Tee Va was a smuggler of the Moogan male variety, heading up a smuggling ring that was active during the Clone Wars period. In Sundari, the capital city of Mandalore, Va once operated by cutting tea with slabin. This allowed him to double the quantity he could sell, effectively doubling his profits. Va's activities were brought to an end when a tainted batch of slabin was used, resulting in the poisoning of several Mandalorian youngling at the Sundari Mandalorian school. His operation was discovered and traced back to him, leading to his imprisonment. However, Va managed to escape and was later spotted on Zygerria during a slave auction, and later on, back on Mandalore.
During the Clone Wars, Tee Va, a male smuggler of the Moogan species originating from Mooga, a world under the control of the Commerce Guild, ran a black market smuggling ring. Va's organization was at one point assigned the task of adulterating tea with slabin, a substance used for dilution, within Sundari, the capital city of Mandalore. Tee Va, along with his Gotal and Moogan associates, made their way to the docks, where they were met by a customs official who questioned Va, as their starship's arrival wasn't on his manifest. Va used Galactic Republic credit ingots to bribe the official, explaining that the other officials were watching a parade for Senator Padmé Amidala. The official then told Va that he would be the point of contact for any future arrivals.
Va and his fellow smugglers eventually established their base of operations in a warehouse situated on the docks, which was guarded by members of the Mandalorian secret service. Inside, Va instructed a Mandalorian individual to combine the slabin with Ardees Beverage tea, with the goal of doubling both the tea's quantity and the resulting profit. When the man inquired about the slabin's toxicity, Va replied that it was only harmful if the dosage was incorrect. Subsequently, the man commenced the process of mixing the tea and slabin.
Later that evening, Va and his accomplices returned, once again bribing the customs official. Unbeknownst to them, Duchess Satine Kryze and Senator Amidala were observing their activities alongside a member of the Mandalorian Protectors.
After the second tea shipment made its way to Mandalore, the warehouse at the Sundari docks came under attack. The assault was carried out by members of the Mandalorian Guard, led by Captain Patrok Ru-Saxon, Amidala, and Kryze. Va used a blaster to defend the warehouse, but in the end, Va, the members of his smuggling ring, and the warehouse workers were apprehended by the police. Kryze then instructed the captain to set the warehouse ablaze.
Having somehow escaped Mandalorian custody, Va was later seen at the Royal Slave Auction on Zygerria, the homeworld of the Zygerrian species. Va was present at the Zygerrian slave market, standing beside Nix Card, the Muun representative of the InterGalactic Banking Clan, as they watched the auction unfold.
Eventually, Va made his way back to Mandalore, which was now under the control of the Shadow Collective. He resumed his smuggling activities, instructing other Moogans to move crates as Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived on the freighter Twilight. Va briefly glanced over when he heard a commotion on the freighter, but he quickly resumed moving the shipping containers.
Tee Va's first appearance, though uncredited, was in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode titled "Corruption". His voice was provided by Dee Bradley Baker. Va's identity was confirmed in the episode's accompanying Episode Guide.
