During the era of the New Republic, a male ruffian, notable for having six eyes, held a position as a fry cook. His place of employment was a noodle bar situated on Borgo Prime, a pirate-controlled asteroid. His duties extended beyond simply frying foodstuffs; he also served customers at the counter, dispensing meals and processing payments.
Circa 9 ABY, the fry cook provided service to Wim and Neel, two young individuals who were not local to the area. His attention was captured by an Old Republic credit that the younglings were about to use for payment. Recognizing the inflated value of this outdated currency, he attempted to swindle them by demanding an unreasonably high sum. The resulting argument between the cook and his patrons led to a chase, which ultimately involved a confrontation with a pirate gang operating in the area. As a consequence, the children whom the cook had attempted to cheat were apprehended by Captain Brutus, a pirate leader, and confined to a [brig](/article/brig] for interrogation. His scheme foiled, the fry cook resumed his ordinary work routine.
A male thug of an unknown species transitioned into the role of a cook by the time of the New Republic Era. He eventually secured a job at a noodle bar located on the pirate asteroid known as Borgo Prime. His responsibilities included the preparation of food and attending to customers seated at the counter.

On one day around 9 ABY, the fry cook was working a shift alongside his kitchen assistant, Nibsy. During this time, the bar served several patrons, including an Onodone individual and a creasy creature. Simultaneously, the Starport of Borgo received a visit from the Skeleton Crew, a group of four younglings who had inadvertently strayed from their home planet and found themselves lost in the galaxy. Two members of the crew, the human Wim and the Myykian Neel, became separated from the others while searching for assistance in finding their way back home. Attracted by the enticing smells emanating from the fry cook's establishment, the boys approached the counter. The cook inquired about their order, and after a brief hesitation, Wim requested two portions of the same dish that the Onodone patron was enjoying—a noodle dish that was the daily special. Consequently, the cook instructed Nibsy to prepare the servings for the young customers, ensuring that his assistant did not overfill the bowls, a habit for which he was known. Finally, the cook seized a lobster-size bug and cracked it open, pouring its contents over Wim's noodles. Upon witnessing this unusual topping on his companion's meal, Neel attempted to dissuade the cook from adding it to his own noodles, but his request was ignored as the cook proceeded to crack open another bug and pour its contents into Neel's bowl. With the noodles ready, the cook demanded two "decs" as payment. When the boys expressed unfamiliarity with the term, he clarified that he meant credits, stating plainly that the bar was not a charity. At Neel's urging, Wim reached into his sock and placed a single coin on the counter to settle the bill. After examining the coin, the cook quickly realized its true value and attempted to trick the young customers into paying more, initially claiming that the premium toppings cost an additional five decks and then attempting to persuade them to leave a tip for excellent service.

As the cook was in the process of asking Wim to reveal how many more of those coins he possessed, the greasy creature intervened, warning the younglings that the chef intended to cheat them. Reacting to this, the fry cook brandished a kitchen knife and ordered the patron to mind their own affairs. During the ensuing scuffle, the creature managed to snatch the credit, causing the cook to cry out in pain as the defiant patron gripped his hand. The creature then questioned the children about where they had obtained an Old Republic credit in such pristine condition, to which Neel replied that Wim's father had given it to him for lunch money. Suddenly, the boys were seized from behind by Vane, a Nikto pirate. The man inquired about the youngsters' origins, only to erupt in laughter along with the fry cook and the patrons when the boys revealed that they hailed from At Attin, a world widely regarded as a myth in pirate circles. Unable to comprehend their reaction, Wim clarified that he and Neel were merely seeking directions, prompting the cook to scoff and joke that he was also looking for some. Eyeing the coin held by the creature, Vane expressed a desire to examine it more closely but was met with resistance from the creature, who refused to relinquish it. Meanwhile, the fry cook insisted on verifying whether the boys had any more such coins in their possession. In response, Wim overturned his bowl of noodles onto the grill to divert everyone's attention. Before the appliance could burst into flames, the fry cook retreated swiftly, a maneuver that allowed him to avoid potential injury.

Following the grill flare-up, the fry cook, accompanied by Vane, the greasy creature, and several others, hurried after Neel and Wim. Just as the younglings stumbled, the thugs and pirates were on the verge of catching them when young Fern, the captain of the Skeleton Crew, appeared wielding a blaster. The girl fired a shot into the air and commanded everyone to back off. The fry cook—who was positioned in the front row of the thugs alongside Vane and the greasy creature—hesitated. When Vane attempted to persuade Fern to lower her weapon, claiming that they only wanted credits, the fry cook interjected. He pointed out that there were not enough credits to go around for everyone, adding that he had been the first to find the younglings. Shortly thereafter, he reprimanded the greasy creature, who had joked that the children might actually come from At Attin, a planet that the fry cook believed to be a myth. Vane, in turn, swiftly disarmed Fern and turned her blaster back on her. As the children raised their hands in surrender, the attackers noticed SM-33 emerging from the crowd, a pirate droid who considered Fern to be its captain. The droid warned the aggressors not to touch the girl before advancing on them, extending and lengthening its arms as it moved. After a brief exchange of words, Vane attempted to shoot at SM-33, but the droid deflected his blaster and sent him crashing backwards into a merchandise stand. With Vane out of the picture, SM-33 turned its attention to the fry cook, punching him in the stomach and launching him upwards with an uppercut. When the cook landed on the ground, the droid confronted the remaining thugs, including the greasy creature and a Warthog alien, who led a barrage of blaster fire at the droid. Ultimately, SM-33 safely escorted its companions to the dinghy landing platform. However, just as they were about to board, the droid was deactivated by pirate Captain Brutus, who then took the younglings captive and locked them in a [brig](/article/brig].
After his opportunity for wealth slipped away, the fry cook resumed his daily routine and returned to the noodle bar. Meanwhile, the Skeleton Crew younglings happened to be imprisoned in the same brig as former pirate Captain Silvo, Brutus's predecessor as the leader of a pirate gang, and they joined forces with him to escape. Engrossed in their duties, the fry cook and Nibsy failed to notice as the escaped prisoners slipped past them, weaving between them and a group of three barflies grappling with one another. In the end, Silvo and the Skeleton Crew managed to flee from Starport Borgo.

His pointed ears were positioned slightly backward, and his posture was somewhat stooped. His long, wiry hands terminated in dark, claw-like fingers, and his feet featured toes with a similar appearance. Additionally, the cook possessed a tail.
The fry cook was known for his extreme greed and his tendency to exploit customers ruthlessly. He made certain to keep portions small, never allowing generosity to diminish his profits. When an opportunity for personal gain presented itself, he would deceive his clients, regardless of their age. Furthermore, he was quick to engage in fights and arguments, competing with rivals to secure his share of the spoils. His language was peppered with vulgarities, which he used freely even in the presence of minors.
