Zho Rasi Tuum

As a member of the Rasi Tuum family, the Cathar named Zho was a Jedi within the New Jedi Order during the Sith–Imperial War era. He was born years prior, as one of three Cathar in a single litter, alongside Ahn and another Cathar solely known as Rasi Tuum. While all three survived a joint massacre of the Jedi by the One Sith in 130 ABY, their Order was scattered across the galaxy. Seven years later, during the Second Imperial Civil War, Ahn was slain by agents of the Sith. Consequently, Zho ventured into the galaxy in search of fellow Jedi survivors, aiming to gather them at a Hidden Jedi Temple situated on the planet of Taivas.

Biography

Zho, a Cathar, belonged to the Rasi Tuums, a litter that featured Ahn and another Cathar only identified as Rasi Tuum. His birth occurred years before 130 ABY. All three littermates possessed sensitivity to the Force, leading them to join the New Jedi Order before 130 ABY. Around that period, Zho sported long hair extending past his shoulders, along with a short beard, bearing a similar appearance to the other Rasi Tuums.

During the Sith–Imperial War in 130 ABY, the One Sith caused the Jedi to scatter across the galaxy by attacking their Jedi Temples on the planets of Coruscant and Ossus. The three Rasi Tuums survived the attack, but the Sith actively hunted Jedi for the next seven years. While Ahn was killed by Sith agents in 137 ABY amidst the Second Imperial Civil War, Zho embarked on a journey through the galaxy several months after Ahn's death, seeking surviving Jedi to bring them to the safety of a Hidden Jedi Temple located on Taivas.

Behind the scenes

Zho, together with his littermates Ahn and Rasi Tuum, was a creation of John Ostrander and Jan Duursema for the Star Wars: Legacy comic series. In June of 2006, an image depicting the three Cathar, labeled simply as "Rasi Tuum," was featured in Star Wars: Legacy (2006) 0, a special preview released before the first issue. One of the Rasi Tuums appeared and met their end in the second issue, with the character's identity revealed as Ahn in issue 25, published in 2008, which also marked the first explicit mention of Zho. Despite Azlyn Rae's reference to Zho and Anh as "the other Rasi Tuums," no source confirms whether it's part of their formal names.
