C-3PO's narration

General Veers addressing his captives

General Maximilian Veers, stationed on Geonosis, along with his deathtroopers, initiates the construction of a battle droids army. This army is assembled using components sourced from recycled droids and existing B1-series battle droid stockpiles located at the droid foundries. As C-3PO, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, and Nien Nunb face an uncertain and grim destiny, 3PO implores General Veers to spare him from being repurposed as a battle droid. Veers remains indifferent to 3PO's plea, suggesting he might be next. Subsequently, Veers departs, instructing his troops to maintain guard over the prisoners.

R2 then persuades 3PO to create a diversion by narrating stories to the stormtroopers, while he secretly employs his fusion welder to sever their restraints. C-3PO proceeds to entertain the stormtroopers with his rendition of "the real story behind the Battle of Endor". C-3PO's retelling begins with the rebels' scheme to liberate Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt's Palace on Tatooine. In this altered version, a sightless Han stumbles into Jabba, inadvertently rousing the Hutt and his entourage. Luke Skywalker then makes his entrance into the palace, employing the Force to levitate a pair of Jabba's Gamorrean guards in an attempt to negotiate their freedom with the crime lord. However, Jabba chooses to offer them as sustenance to the sarlacc at the Great Pit of Carkoon.

Within 3PO's reimagining of the attempt, the rebels receive assistance from a diverse cast of characters, including Qui-Gon Jinn, Ben Quadinaros, Noga-ta, Lobot, Jar Jar Binks, and Watto. R2 still discharges new lightsaber, but it ends up within the sarlacc's maw. Nevertheless, the sarlacc ejects it, and the deflected lightsaber incapacitates several of Jabba's underlings. This time, Luke successfully seizes the lightsaber and frees his companions. R2 also utilizes his electric prod to shock Salacious B. Crumb, causing him to plummet directly into the sarlacc's gullet. Lando also succumbs to the pit but is rescued by Han and an Ithorian.

Leia and C-3PO trying to stop Jabba from choking on Luke

Luke also finds himself lodged within Jabba's throat, but Leia and 3PO come to the Jedi's aid by performing the Heimlich maneuver on Jabba. Subsequently, Leia obliterates Jabba's sail barge using the vessel's cannon before the rebels make their escape from the scene aboard one of the remaining desert skiffs. Boba Fett manages to extricate himself from the sarlacc's grasp, only to be propelled back into the pit by a descending Jabba. Once in orbit, the rebels divide their forces, with Luke and R2 proceeding to consult with Master Yoda, while 3PO and the others return to the rebel fleet.

On Dagobah, Luke receives the revelation from Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi that Vader is indeed his father and that Leia is his sister. At the rebel strategy session, Admiral Ackbar devises a strategy to destroy DS-2 Death Star II Mobile Battle Station by deploying a strike team, led by Han, to disable the shield generator on Endor. Luke joins the strike mission but harbors concerns about jeopardizing the operation. During the speeder bike pursuit, C-3PO hitches a ride on R2-D2, who provides fuel for Luke's bike. Ultimately, Luke, Leia, and the droids find themselves pedaling a bike through the woods. The rebels then stumble into an Ewok trap.

Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewbacca tied up in the Ewoks' cauldron

Concurrently, at Death Star II, two Lego workers haggle over the hues of the bricks employed in the construction of the superweapon. Within the Emperor's Throne Room, Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader deliberate on their strategy to ensnare Luke and the rebels. Meanwhile, Calrissian and the rebel fleet make their way to Endor. Returning to Endor, the Ewoks have captured Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewbacca, binding them and placing them in a cauldron, poised to be cooked, yet they regard 3PO as a deity. Luke persuades the Ewoks to release them by employing the Force to execute several magician's tricks on the Ewoks.

Luke then departs to confront Vader, but not before disclosing to Leia that they share a familial bond. In space, Jar Jar Binks is spotted adrift some miles from the Second Death Star, where Palpatine encounters Luke and unveils his scheme to trap the rebels. Han Solo's strike team encounters setbacks when a booby-trapped door damages R2 and they are encircled by several AT-ST walkers while the rebel fleet discovers the shield generator remains operational. According to 3PO, the rebels' predicament on Endor appeared dire.

Lando's narration

Returning to the present timeline, one of the stormtroopers inquires of C-3PO about the subsequent events. Before the protocol droid can proceed, General Veers reenters the cell and instructs the stormtroopers to fetch the next droid. The stormtroopers remove a malfunctioning GNK-series power droid and exit the chamber. R2-D2 then liberates himself from his bonds but departs the room, neglecting to free the others. 3PO is incensed by the astromech droid's perceived betrayal and retorts with a sarcastic "R2-D2 betrayed everyone he ever knew! The end!" when the stormtroopers return. Lando then steps forward to continue the "real story" behind the Battle of Endor, startling the stormtroopers by asserting that Darth Vader saved the rebellion.

Luke and Vader pause their duel after clipping Palpatine's nose

In the celestial sphere, the rebel fleet evades the operational Second Death Star by navigating amidst the Imperial fleet. While incensed by the rebels' setback, Luke refuses to succumb to the dark side until the Emperor provokes him by asserting that he will never attain the same level of coolness as Han Solo, prompting him to assault Vader. On the forest moon, the captured rebel strike team is rescued by the Ewok army. R2 and an Ewok also launch the Imperial commanding officer into the forests via catapult. Back on the Second Death Star, Palpatine revels in observing the duel between Vader and Luke until he is grazed in the nose by Luke. However, Luke declines to slay Vader once he is disarmed, leading the Emperor to assail him with Force lightning.

The destruction of the shield generator empowers Calrissian to spearhead an assault on the Second Death Star. He also assures Han that he will refrain from damaging his vessel. Within the Emperor's Throne Room, Vader intervenes to save his son, casting the Emperor into the reactor core. Vader atones with Luke in his final moments, briefly having his head detached when Luke attempted to remove his helmet. ("It's a little tricky," he remarks) Luke then flees the Second Death Star with Vader's remains before the superweapon detonates. Concluding the narrative, Calrissian underscores that Vader's sacrifice restored equilibrium to the Force. His storytelling prowess impresses the stormtroopers. However, Veers remains unimpressed and commands his men to escort the prisoners to the smelter.

The rebels celebrating after Chewbacca finally receives his medal

Suddenly, R2-D2 reappears piloting the Millennium Falcon, which breaches a hole in the wall. R2 employs the ship's cannons to target Veers and his forces. The rebels then escape aboard the Falcon while Veers initiates his emergency protocol. Utilizing the Lego bricks, General Veers constructs a colossal B1 battle droid that seizes the Millennium Falcon. Before the Falcon can meet its demise, Admiral Ackbar arrives in his Delta-7B Aethersprite-class light interceptor Daisy Mae and bombards the giant battle droid. The Falcon breaks free, and the rebels return to the Forest Moon, where they are greeted with another hero's welcome. During the festivities, C-3PO declines a medal and instead bestows it upon Chewbacca as a belated recompense for inadvertently destroying his medal following the Battle of Yavin.
