Silvasu Fi

Silvasu Fi served as a member of the Cloud-Riders during the Galactic Empire's time in power. Back in 10 BBY, Fi, along with the other members, journeyed to the planet Savareen with intentions of seizing a shipment of coaxium fuel. This fuel was in the process of being refined by a crew of outlaws connected to the Crimson Dawn crime group, who the Cloud-Riders met outside of a cantina. Fi and the others stood by and watched as their leader, Enfys Nest, made an attempt to convince the outlaws to join forces against Crimson Dawn. Her words had an impact on the outlaw Han Solo, who then devised a scheme to kill Dryden Vos, the head of Crimson Dawn, and secure the coaxium for themselves.

Solo, along with his comrades, boarded the crime lord's yacht with the coaxium, while Fi and the Cloud-Riders arranged an ambush, using local villagers as a distraction. Vos, having been tricked into believing that Nest and her allies were in possession of the coaxium, dispatched all of the mercenaries under his command to recover it. However, they were deceived by the decoys and were ultimately defeated by Nest, Fi, and the other Cloud-Riders. Following this, Solo and his allies eliminated Vos and handed the coaxium back to the Cloud-Riders.

Biography

Spying on Solo

Fi spied on Beckett's crew on Vandor.

Silvasu Fi, an alien hailing from a world ravaged by one of the Five Crime Syndicates, became a member of the Cloud-Riders during the reign of the Galactic Empire. In the year 10 BBY, the organization was under the leadership of Enfys Nest, a human female who guided a small group of Cloud-Riders to the planet Vandor with the objective of stealing coaxium fuel from the Empire. However, their plans were disrupted by a crew of criminals, led by Tobias Beckett and associated with Crimson Dawn. Subsequently, Nest instructed her team to follow Beckett's crew, and Fi, along with fellow Cloud-Rider Weazel, tracked them to the drinking establishment known as the Lodge on Vandor.

While there, Fi leaned against a pillar, drink in hand, as Beckett's associates, Han Solo, Qi'ra, and Chewbacca, passed by in search of the pilot Lando Calrissian. Solo and Calrissian eventually engaged in a game of sabacc in one of the establishment's back rooms, and both Fi and Weazel joined the growing crowd of spectators. Fi witnessed the final round of the game, during which Calrissian wagered his ship, the Millennium Falcon, against a fictitious VCX-100 light freighter that Solo claimed to own. When Solo revealed a hand of straight staves, Fi applauded, but when Calrissian revealed Full Sabacc and won, Fi jumped up and down excitedly while applauding.

Savareen standoff

Silvasu Fi was a member of the Cloud-Riders.

Calrissian then became a member of Beckett's crew and they departed together in the Falcon, upon which Weazel had attached a homing beacon. After discovering that Beckett's crew had successfully stolen another shipment of coaxium from the planet Kessel, Nest led the Cloud-Riders, including Fi, to the planet Savareen, where Beckett was attempting to have the fuel refined at the Bis Refinery.

Once the refinement process was underway, Fi and the other Cloud-Riders confronted Beckett and his allies outside of a cantina in a village situated near the refinery. Nest stood in line with Fi and eleven others, all of whom had their blasters aimed at Beckett's crew. They listened as the outlaw Han Solo falsely claimed that he and Beckett had thirty mercenaries waiting in their YT-1300 light freighter, the Millennium Falcon; however, the ruse was exposed by the fact that the Falcon took off and left Savareen as Solo finished his false threat. Nest then removed her mask and ordered the Cloud-Riders to bring Beckett's crew inside the cantina.

An unlikely Alliance

Fi traveled to Savareen with the Cloud-Riders.

Inside the cantina, Fi stood by as Nest attempted to convince Beckett and his crew that Crimson Dawn was an evil organization and that they should not hand over the coaxium to the syndicate. When Nest revealed that the syndicates had brutalised Fi and the other Cloud-Riders' homeworlds, the entire group removed their helmets in unison. This speech was enough to persuade Solo to attempt to assist them, and he devised a plan to collaborate with the Cloud-Riders and kill the leader of Crimson Dawn, the crime lord Dryden Vos. Suspecting that Beckett would be unwilling to side with the Cloud-Riders, Solo fed him a false plan in which they would provide Vos with fake coaxium. Upon hearing this, Beckett abandoned them as expected.

With Beckett gone, Fi and the rest of the Cloud-Riders gave their helmets to the local villagers so that they could act as decoys as part of Solo's plan. Solo and the remaining members of Beckett's crew then transported the freshly refined coaxium to Vos's yacht, the First Light, which had landed nearby. As anticipated, Beckett betrayed his former allies and informed Vos of what he knew of the plan, prompting the crime lord to dispatch all of the mercenaries he had on his yacht to track down Nest and the other Cloud-Riders, who he believed were in possession of the coaxium.

A successful trap

Silvasu Fi and the Cloud-Riders fought Crimson Dawn on Savareen.

The mercenaries quickly located the disguised villagers and surrounded them, believing they had captured Fi and the other Cloud-Riders. In reality, Fi and the others were concealed in the surrounding village and ambushed the mercenaries after their leader Aemon Gremm discovered that the cases he assumed contained the stolen coaxium were empty. Fi was among a group of Cloud-Riders who fired down upon the mercenaries from an elevated walkway. Gremm and his men were quickly subdued, leaving Vos vulnerable back on his yacht.

Solo and his allies then killed both Vos and Beckett, before returning with the coaxium to Nest, Fi, and the other Cloud-Riders. The group loaded the fuel onto their speeder bikes, then mounted up themselves. Waiting for Nest to launch first, the group then took off and left the village behind, traveling to a rendezvous with the leader of the Partisans rebel movement, Saw Gerrera. Nest then gave the coaxium to Gerrera to aid in his fight against the Empire.
