Sondiv Sella

Sondiv Sella was a male individual who worked as a cargo pilot for the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Later in life, he became a high-ranking official within the New Republic, collaborating with figures like Mon Mothma and Leia Organa. Together, they endeavored to maintain order in the galaxy as the New Republic rose to prominence as the leading political power in the months following the Battle of Endor. In 5 ABY, Sella was known by the title of Councillor. Even though Yuprin Arlo represented his homeworld of Hosnian Prime in the Republic Senate, the councillor assisted in managing the various committees and subcommittees. Sondiv was the parent of Korr Sella, who, like her father, dedicated herself to public service.

Biography

During the Galactic Civil War, Sondiv Sella functioned as a cargo pilot for the Alliance to Restore the Republic. In the aftermath of the Battle of Endor, Sella transitioned to the role of a councilman in the New Republic's Galactic Senate in 5 ABY. He served alongside Senator Yuprin Arlo, representing his homeworld, Hosnian Prime. As a councilman, Sella's responsibilities included coordinating the different committees and subcommittees. While the New Republic took control of the galaxy from the Galactic Empire, Sella worked in the Senate alongside Chancellor Mon Mothma and Princess Leia Organa.

Before the Battle of Jakku, Sella was present at a meeting of the Committee for Imperial Reallocation. Despite Auxi Kray Korbin, Mothma's adviser, adjourning the meeting on Mothma's orders, he remained to inquire about Mothma's well-being. Mothma responded that she was undergoing therapy exercises for her arm following the attack on Chandrila some months prior. Although he lacked voting rights in the Senate, Sella pledged to aid her by guiding the committees to completion and advocating on her behalf in the upcoming election. Sella then took his leave of Mothma.

Following Senator Tolwar Wartol's (Mothma's political adversary) disclosure of the Imperial presence on Jakku to the HoloNet, Sella contacted Mothma, urging her to tune into HoloNet News. After the Battle of Jakku, Mothma appointed Sella as her new secondary adviser, succeeding the deceased Auxi, who had been assassinated by Wartol. Sella, along with fellow adviser Sinjir Rath Velus (formerly an Imperial loyalty officer), and Organa accompanied Mothma during the peace talks with Grand Vizier Mas Amedda. These negotiations culminated in the Galactic Concordance, officially ending the conflict between the New Republic and the Galactic Empire.

Sondiv later became the father of a daughter, Korr Sella, who became a staff member for Organa in the senate in 28 ABY.
