Tasi Lowa

Tasi Lowa was a Jedi belonging to the Jedi Order, specifically a Zygerrian one, who existed during the time frame known as the High Republic Era. She served as the Padawan under the tutelage of Jedi Knight Yord Fandar. Together, Lowa and Fandar made a trip to the Trade Federation freighter named Fallon. Their objective was to locate the meknek named Verosha "Osha" Aniseya, who stood accused of the murder of Jedi Master Indara by her twin sister, Mae-ho "Mae" Aniseya. The Zygerrian questioned Osha, who maintained her innocence, but the two Jedi took the meknek into custody and transported her to the Galactic Republic prison ship named Palwick.

Biography

During the High Republic Era, Tasi Lowa, a Force-sensitive Zygerrian, held the rank of Jedi within the Jedi Order. By the year 132 BBY, she was serving as the Padawan to Jedi Knight Yord Fandar, with her station being the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant, the capital planet. In that year, following the murder of Jedi Master Indara on Ueda by the Force-sensitive assassin Mae-ho "Mae" Aniseya, Lowa accompanied Fandar to the Trade Federation freighter Fallon. Their mission was to apprehend the meknek Verosha "Osha" Aniseya, who was a former Jedi Padawan under Master Sol and also happened to be Mae's twin sister. Osha had been implicated in the crime. The two Jedi landed on the freighter utilizing a Jedi Vector, proceeding to the bridge. There, Fandar introduced both himself and Lowa before inquiring with the Neimoidian captain Blex about Osha's whereabouts. Despite the captain's denial of having any mekneks on board, an officer revealed Osha's location.

Fandar and Lowa question Osha in her quarters.

Upon Fandar's meeting with Osha in her private quarters, Lowa joined him, engaging the former Jedi in conversation about her current occupation before inquiring about her joining the Order. Lowa brought up the concern regarding Osha's age at the time of her admittance into the Order, while Fandar mentioned the loss of Osha's family shortly before she became a Jedi. Osha then questioned the Jedi about the reason for their visit, and Lowa informed her about the murder that occurred on Ueda, committed by a suspect who matched Osha's description. When Osha vehemently denied any involvement in Indara's death, Lowa questioned her about her whereabouts on the previous night, to which the meknek responded that she had been aboard the freighter.

At Fandar's request, Lowa briefly exited the room, returning shortly after with the barkeep Cabuck, who had witnessed the murder. The barkeep identified Osha as the perpetrator, leading to the two Jedi taking the meknek into custody. As the Jedi were escorting her to the prison transport Palwick, which was intended to return her to Coruscant, Lowa deactivated Osha's droid, Pip, and informed her of her impending fate. Lowa then handed the meknek's possessions to a droid warden, who escorted Osha onto the ship, after which the transport departed. The Jedi themselves returned to Coruscant; however, Osha never reached her destination, as the prison ship crashed following an attempted escape by the other prisoners.

Lowa was not present when her Master traveled to Khofar, where he tragically died in a battle against the Sith Lord known as The Stranger.
