Raddus' task force was a task force of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Admiral Raddus put it together after he went against orders from Alliance High Command. He journeyed to Scarif, a heavily defended planet of the Galactic Empire, to try and acquire the plans for the planet-destroying Death Star. The task force was divided into three elements to provide assistance to Red Squadron, Gold Squadron, and Green Squadron. Simultaneously, Blue Squadron executed an infiltration of the Scarif Shield Gate at the Golan M3185 space station.
The MC75 Star Cruiser known as Profundity functioned as the flagship for this task force. Supporting it were three EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigates, several CR90 corvettes, numerous Sphyrna-class Hammerhead corvette, a collection of Braha'tok-class gunships, and various GR-75 medium transports.
